We have a similar vent/fan system installed in our Van Cruiser Fury. It is great for taking air in or out and has the rain sensor.

OMG I’m excited about the DRS you’ve installed! Really want to know how it goes. I want to put it in the fan spot above the loo-perfect to extract(😅) and to use as a DRS. They’ve thought about it and if it works, then genius! We couldn’t put one anywhere else after market so 👍🏻 to Mountain Air 🎉✔️😀 We are also upgrading our ATM too. Gives us an extra 350kg of payload safely and legally. Totally makes sense. X

We got the car GVM upgrade and Caravan ATM upgraded from ASB engineering in Brisbane a lot cheaper than other ones we enquired with. We are not affiliated with them but Know with the cost of living every cent saved can go towards travelling .😉. Love the Vids

Hi another great video! I don't know it is selective editing but it looks like you are enjoying this project! As for the little blemishes that you mentioned no drama compared to some of the really bad stories I've been told by friends of the poor build quality of some of the well-known brands! Friends Brand new van 36 major defects in first month! Second month bitumen road pulled up for lunch opened van kitchen cabinets all over floor! Thanks for the info!

We too are really enjoy the reno job, congratulations on your great attitude and caravan construction skills. Nothing seems too much trouble. The DRS does seem to have some fantastic ideas like the Landcruiser air filter and reversable variable speed fan but not sure about climbing on the van roof for a filter change plus it would be better to see some aerodynamic design in hood.

Thanks mate! Yes climbing on the roof is not ideal for some! As for the aerodynamics I don’t think it would make enough of a difference to even be noticeable because of the size 👍🏼

It’s a bit late to tell you this but if you spray the back (sticky) side of those stick on tile things with a detergent/water mix, or any stick on graphic then you can easily manipulate them into place and squeegee out the air bubbles. They will dry on just as well, just takes a little longer

Little tip. I would not affix nuts to the upper side of that DO35. You will have water ingress deep into the threads compromising them. Nuts should be affixed from the underside! Less change of water seepage into the threads.. Great vids though!!

Wow $550 for the ATM Upgrade inspection and plating is a great price. Pricing for similar here in Vic I have been quoted over $900 and that's with the pre inspection paper wok supplied to the engineer. 👍👍

Hi guys, Just watched the episode installing the CRUISEMASTER DO35 . We think you may have put the bolts in upside down. If the nuts come loose, you may lose the whole bolt & the cruise master will move around. So for safety reasons please put the bolts going down. We love what you have undertaken & watch every Sunday. Hi guys! I put the bolts in the same way the original hitch bolts were, this is also the same way our do35 was bolted on our last van. They are nylon lock nuts so should they come loose I think we’d be in the same amount of trouble no matter what way they were in 😵 Thanks so much for watching 🙌🏼

With the mountain air how does the air cleaner work as air cleaners are made to go one way, so like you said you can suck in clean air but how do you exhaust back out thought the same filter thanks as it looks like the maxi air fan you can buy from coast to coast thanks

That’s the original scupper vent, meant to open up to create positive pressure but from most reports they just let the dust in
