We have the Phantom alarm and tracker. Had it fitted when the caravan arrived new at the dealer back in Feb 2013. I’m now on the second, five year subscription deal. It was a £150 saving to take it out for five years and I get a 5% insurance discount for an alarm and 5% for a tracker. Accidentally set the alarm off one day on site and Phantom was quick to respond by phone. Great video. Cheers Rob 👍

Just watched your part 1 and very interested in all aspects of your video. We had our battery stolen from the storage yard witch I did a video on so I will be ramping up our security you can never be to complacent with security and your caravan this I've found out to our cost. Great video waiting on part 2 now 😆.... cheers Paul

Some good products talked about. If they want your caravan enough it will be stolen. But as you said any security device that will cause damage or need to make noise or slow the theft down may make them move on to a easier target. Thanks for sharing

We have a barn door on our caravan, I bought one exterior lock and fitted it to cover the join of the door

Hi pal I’ve got a phantom alarm and tracker fitted and have to say it’s fantastic If your thinking of getting a phantom if you mention I recommend you to them you will get either 3 or 6 months subscription for free, better than a kick in the arse pal

Hi Ian. Really sad that you've had this awful experience - really dents your confidence a bit that some **** would stop so low and upset you both. Really good advice on security precautions - even if it doesn't totally protect from these people, it might at least discourage them or slow them down and make your van less of a target. I just watched your vid on the purple line twin axle Gemini lock from a year ago I think it looks really secure . I no insurance company's are picky is it still viable do think

I am not sure what the latest is on testing and gold rating. All I can say is, I am using it as extra security, it feels really heavy and strong with titanium locks and locking nuts. It is very easy to fit once your used to it. Would I trust it on it's own.... well maybe once I know it's passed the gold secure testing.
