Caraway finally launched a line of fully-clad stainless steel and we spent the last month or so with the Dutch Oven, the Fry Pan, and the Sauce Pan.
Overall, they're fine. Just like the rest of Caraway's products, they're attractive, but middling-quality pans aimed at the high-end of the market.
They're responsive and comfortable to hold (if a bit heavy) and there are some nice details like the solid lids, but then they're balanced out with negatives like those godawful super-glossy handles which always surprise me that they're not plastic (though the strap shape does feel slightly better).
The problem for Caraway is that this market segment has lots of competitors and to find an audience, they lean on non-scientific wellness nonsense. That worked great for them in the ceramic cookware space and they haven't changed a thing with this new stainless line. But, as a consumer that makes me pretty embarrassed to have them in my kitchen - especially at such a misaligned price point.
