This video covers important reactions and applied aspects of glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, link reaction, citric acid cycle (TCA cycle, Krebs cycle), pentose phosphate pathway (HMP shunt), glycogen metabolism (glycogen synthesis and glycogen breakdown), galactose metabolism, fructose metabolism, sorbitol pathway. Overall, it coverts entire carbohydrate metabolism.

Insulin do not have direct role on TCA cycle enzymes but it promotes PDH complex activity to provide acetyl CoA which enters into TCA cycle
