This is a metal arrangement of one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack of Shovel Knight, originally written by Jake "virt" Kaufman : "The Fateful Return". It also includes a short reference to "Fighting With All Our Might", another one I love. As usual this one had been in my bingo list for a while until the right occasion appeared : Giovanni Rotondo hiring me for his 2018 video game music arrangements album "The 8-bit Time Paradox", featuring 7 other awesome KZbin artists. Dang im kinda late to the party but this is such a banger man. I recently got back into a shovel knight addiction and ive been looking at all these covers and stuff. This track has to be one of my favorites from the entire game, as it completely captures the moment of the level. This cover makes it even more intense and I absolutely adore it. You're absolutely amazing man, I wish I had seen this sooner lol.

Huhu seeing how I'm responding months later, I wouldn't say that it's still very active but to answer your question, I've stopped taking commissions as I'm working full time outside of music-related stuff. But it would depend on the sort of song you'd want, the complexity, original or cover, etc... I'd basically need to estimate the amount of time, and likely revisions that would have to be spent while working on it.

Shovel Knight should have got a franchise at least as long as Megaman. They probably didn't do it out of fear of destroying it with too many games. But I think doing some more games without drastically changing the genre would have made a big impact. The story has place for more. Like bringing a new badass enemy, maybe a dark lord who actually put the curse onto the necklace in the first place
