To me this song feels like remaining still through the storm, through no matter what you experience. At first I didn't like it because I found it creepy and chilling, but I started seeing it differently and it's become one of my favorite Carbon Based Lifeforms songs. It's expansive, spacious, transcendental even. There's rising and falling and you can get a sense of the undisturbed center. Like bringing things into manifestation and then returning to source. Like a circular movement. Like breath.

That’s so odd that you would say it’s like the breath. I used to do pranayama breathing cobra breathing for hours and hours to this track and album on repeat and wow the experiences that I induced were phenomenal OUT OF THIS WORLD way beyond words… Good explanation thanks.

I discovered a lot of CBL jewels only recently..and this one just a couple of years ago! Terpene, Arecibo, Equilibrium, Station blue are my all time CBL favourites (of course i love a lot more of their tracks)
