Great video! I liked how you showed other AG/MG boots as visual examples. Really helpful! Also liked how you brought up the fact that the previous AG did not have the carbon fiber (where as the previous FG did). 👍🏻

I used them in AG, honestly they are great but definitely dangerous if you do aggressive movements. I almost got injured after jumping trying to catch a ball and when I landed, the boot got stuck in the ground and I felt immediately to the ground with a lot of knee pain. Again, they are great but you need to be careful

Adidas have released a new ag stud pattern. Would be good to see if they have the same issues as the old ones.

Nice review! I saw the images of the boot and was wondering about the difference. I think the older adidas Ag plate is too flimsy. My feet are always destroyed when I play in the Ag speedflows. Maybe worth trying the new one. I wish they put it on the Plus version too!

The plus model for the speedportal also has the same ag plate as these. Unisport just put them up on their website for example, I'm sure other retailers have them too.

True. I use Predator 20.2 AG on 4G pitch before this and I keep sliding around when making quick turns. The older Adidas AG plate has no bite. They can just make it circular stud like Puma & Nike. Since then I only use FG model on 4G.

I have the speed flow, and I was very happy with them. But it’s time to get new boots and I can’t get new speedflows because I can’t find any. Don’t know what to do…

Well you could always wait for the new X speed boot, pros are already starting to wear them. If not the closest upper to the speed flows readily available is the New Balance Furons. Again not the same but comfortable/thin.

Hi what does the carbon do for the boot,does it transfer energy from the groung,eg acceleration. Please let me know,thanks .P

It more so it gives the boot stiffness so that when you’re planting your foot, you have something solid to push off on. Thus when you are running and need to keep going it gives a tactile feel back to your feet. We all have had moments where you are trying to run but you are only running at %50 effort but when you get that tactile feedback you can push yourself to give %80.

Only the middle studs, an like about a millimeter, really no difference besides the extra stud

Is it safe to you the FG studs on the AG pitch in the speedportal

Well I have had no issues using the FG model on AG pitches, but that will be up to you.

Doesn’t seem so, perhaps a stronger glue to reinforce it but it’s not like the FG model has split for me on AG yet either.

Pretty solid, I've had no cracking or chipping on them. Even the exposed carbon hasn't had any turf pellets sneak in yet.

I mean I can't argue with that, since the current speedportals don't have the carbon anymore and they feel almost just as stiff and explosive.

And they are the same lenght as FG. Very painful experience. Waste of money and they should be sued for customers health after playing with these really. Look at Nike AG stud pattern and it's almost perfect. Speedportal AG studs are more aggressive than Copa Mundial or Copa Sense FG studs.
