I am 60 and looking to upgrade my 7 year old Rad City. It has served its purpose. I am that guy who is likes the look of this bike. However, I am a commuter and like the convenience of fenders and a rack or basket to carry my stuff to work. I love the looks and the performance of this bike. I ride my bike daily to work. I have almost 3k on it. Technology has improved so much since I bought this bike. I’m ready to sell it and move up. I have to admit I’m attracted to that 1000W hub motor but am ignorant to the mid drive. I’m doing more research to make an informed decision. Your video is awesome.👏 👏👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I ordered the mid drive version of this, and it did have a front basket that comes with it and I also added on the available rear cargo frame as well

Thanks for the honest review! I just ordered the mid drive version, i am hoping that torque sensor will be much better in the production version or i will be very disappointed! A little disappointed in the suspension as well

Is the new 1000w motor coming to the MARS 2.0 worth it for riding in the Northwest? My main concern is the smallish battery

Hi Ginger, have you had any loose movement with the PIDZOOM TPMS display while riding? I got mine already and im overall super happy with it and have it on my Inmotion RS Midnight but the display doesnt really lock well and i went over this un even road and on a bump it almost caused me to lose that display. 😅 i do see a thread hole on the back of the display but i dont know if PIDZOOM sells another mount style for that thread hole. I trust you 100% so if you arent experiencing that maybe mine just has a locking issue. 😅

Mine is locked on there really tight. It wasn't hard to screw the Mount onto the bars, but the display, I had to turn really hard to lock it into place on the mount. If you just twist it really hard to the right then it'll lock into place.

@GingerOnWheels Thank you so much for the info. I got a reply from PIDZOOM and they told me to do the same thing. I thought i was going to break it by turning it with pressure but it locked just like you said. 🙏😅

Hey ginger does the hero have the ISO 4210-10 rating like the lectric x-peak or the new velotric summit 1 have?

All I can find is UL2489 , no mention of ISO standards on the product page.

Interesting...I see it still weighs 75lbs...so it's not light? or...did you feel that it was light? too bad about the suspension...cool colour though :)

I'm pretty sure it weighs 50lbs. Did I spout the wrong number in the video 😅? I think most e-bikes of this class weigh around 65 to 75 lb though. It felt light while I was riding it too, for what it's worth.

@@GingerOnWheels opps...I hadn't watched the whole video when I commented lol...I was on their website and it says 75lbs ...maybe I'm wrong...wouldn't be the first time this year lol :) But if it feels lighter...that's what matters :)...I think 50lbs for a guy that carries his up and down stairs almost daily would be a huge plus :)

It says it weighs 75lbs. Only 3 lbs lighter than my giant bulky beast. The whole carbon fiber gimmick is just a disappointment. You're only reducing overall weight by 5%. I don't know if you're ever going to see a bike with 4" tires at a reasonable weight. 3" seems to be the sweet spot.

i feel your contradict yourself over and over, you keep saying how bad the suspension is, but then praise how comfortable it is to go offroad...?

The seat and the huge tires absorb a lot of the little bumps, and the more upright position is comfortable, too. But that suspension has no rebound damping. That's really jarring when you hit big bumps dead off.
