maybe someone used screw on the original mirror caps to prevent people to steal them. If you know how to do it (and take a bit of risk to damage the caps) you can pull them off in a couple of seconds.

Possibly a question you can't answer but, I have Z4 G29 M40i. Would these caps and blinkers fit? Amazon says no but, they look exactly like the mirrors on mine.

I'm trying to take out my OEM covers and they are the same, screwed in. But the screws won't come out because it seems the screws are too warn away, any advice?

I am not sure if you can assist, but i have moisture in my driver side headlamp which causes my left turn signal to malfunction, Daytime/parking lamp malfunction and my adaptive head to malfunction any help would be appreciated

can you please help me with the exact brand of led turn signal bulbs you used. I have tried Lasfit and others still get the error and flashing. Even bought the ob connector and coded every light in led and changed to non active in beammer code. Sill no luck

After reassembling the housing, i pressed the mirror back in gently, heard it click into place, but now they won't rotate back down (I hear it whirring). I thought maybe it wasn't properly seated, so I tried pressing on one a bit more firmly, and i heard something pop. Now it rotates, but it is much looser. It feels like i snapped a clip or two on the back of the mirror. I'm afraid to press in the other mirror now. Anyone know whats up? I heard it click into place, dunno why they didn't want to rotate back down, but I dont want to break the other too.

You are so lucky that you can buy on Amazon. In Denmark we have one webshop where we can buy styling for our cars. Not much but Better than nothing😂 okay we can also use eBay but we have to import parts form Germany or England. Love your videos. Love from DK😘😆

I ran into the same thing with the factory BMW caps. Rusty washers and all. Seems a bit strange, but the fit nice and tight. Also, a bit of a problem on the drivers side. I must have pushed a tad hard remounting the mirror. It pushed the 6:00 o'clock position of the inner ring to far in, preventing ANY adjustment of the mirror. Little panic moment there, but took the mirror off and didn't man handle it and everything is running smooth now. About 45 minutes for both sides. Would go MUCH faster if I had to do it again, and didn't have to mess with the drivers side 10 minutes longer, troubleshooting a stupid mistake. Thanks for the vid dude!!

Did you have any issues after installing the sequential blinkers? I hear couple people say it causes water leaks inside the mirror housing.

I can see that happening as the oem ones have a built in rubber gasket around them and I haven't seen any sequentials that do. As a precaution I'm going to avoid spraying water directly at them when washing.
