Carbon Fiber Racingline Chassis Brace for MK7

We show you how to install a Carbon Fiber Racingline Rear Chassis Brace on a MK7. This video was shot showing this on our Alltrack, but the process would be the same on all MK7 model (GTI, Golf R and Golf). A chassis brace will stiffen up the rear body of the vehicle preventing body flex under hard driving.

Installed the brace today, and it does work - I can tell the rear of the car is stiffer when taking a corner at speed. Raceline doesn't include instructions in the box and offers very basic instructions on their web site, so the DAP video is a must view prior to installing. Total time to install was less than 45 minutes and not tightening fasteners made alignment and final fit much easier. Overall - a great addition to the car (2017 GTI) and the current suspension set-up (24mm rear sway bar plus Koni Sport shocks and struts).

@@aaron5222 yes sir. mostly in the door seals and in the suspension. The sunroof does at times, but it's minor.
