Thanks for showing a BETTER way of removing the cover. I was worried about removing the mirror, as they include the lane assist blind spot indicators. Hate to think the cost of having to replace one of them. Great job!

I placed last friday my carbon mirrorscovers and it is very tough. Me and my friend spent like 1.5 hours to get the whole job done.

terrible fitment. you don't need to be nice because you're getting free things. if it sucks, say something so that they can fix it. on a side note, all this carbon fiber is starting to look tacky.

It doesn't suck. Is it perfect? No, but I'm not OCD about stuff like this. It looks good enough. If I wanted to hide the imperfections I wouldn't have shown it close up and also discuss the clearance issues.

Hey Zed4me! How is the fitment on those mirror caps? Do they come down all the way at the corner and really sit flush with the mirror stem? Made that term up because i dont know what Else to call it. I got some real carbon fiber caps from urotuning and they are junk. They were next to impossible to get on and they don’t fit right. And when the air hits them at high speeds, the wind cuts into this gap and they scream so loud, I can’t even focus on driving. It’s completely unacceptable. Please tell me, even send me a photo or two of how these caps sit down on the plastic stems and if you have any problems at all with them. No I’m sending these back and considering buying from pinalloy Thanks! Chris

quick question unrelated to mirrors. stage2 w/ dsg tune with EuroDyne. In comfort/normal mode, w/ DSG on auto, are you seeing 3rd gear 15-20mph, 4th gear 20-25, 5th gear 25-30 and 6th gear 30mph and above? If so, is that expected behavior?

If you're not too much on the throttle yeah it'll switch to higher gear pretty early on

Great job on the video. Unacceptable, to me. Accessory parts are hit and miss at best. But its about how it makes you feel. If you're happy, Im happy brother. Btw, sometimes less is more with carbon fiber. Should be a nice touch on second notice, not everywhere possible, IMHO.

did you ever fix the dsg jerky downshifting? did you try a dsg basic reset?

wanka4 didn't get fixed with a transmission basic reset.. also it wasn't doing it on another golf r that I tested so.. I think it just happens on some cars. I will be doing a DSG fluid flush soon that's my last resort.
