Thank you, I'm just some guy that found your channel looking for information on how not to bug my neighbors with my drums.(very small corner of my garage} I have learned so much more than I ever thought about with sound transmission etc. Incredible knowledge from you. Not where I want to be yet< but I have learned so much. Thank you.

Thanks for the video as always! If I may suggest something, it would be nice to see the actual product in the video if possible (just to add to visuals). But I'd understand if doing so adds to unwanted effort.

You can see the product in our shop section: www.acousticfields.com/product/daw-platform/

@@AcousticFields that’s the DAW platform, not the carbon speaker stands - also these don’t show up on you website product page. Can you please provide a link to the speaker stands?

@@zenrand688 The speaker stands are in the shop section product # 17

@@AcousticFields those are the speaker platforms, not the stands. I found the stands by searching and they show up in the Pro Line/Absorption - but they don't show up if you navigate there from the Shop menu. Anyway, I did finally find them.

What do you think about using quadratic diffusion on the front wall and ACDA units on the side walls?

What is your room usage? All tretament types and positioning for middle and high frequencies depends on room usage.

How about Tower Speakers? I have a pair of KEF 105.3 which are approximately four feet in height? Low end drivers are positioned vertically and ported.

The farther you stay away from the ceiling, the better. My new studio has 15' ceilings. I can not believe how much sound quality I have been missing with lower ceiling heights. I will do a video examining those differences.

What's your take on the idea of an open frame speaker to eliminate the cabinet altogether?
@AcousticFields3 жыл бұрын
Open frame speaker design reduces cabinet resonances. The lower frequencies will be generated by the drivers themselves without the aid of the cabinet. I do not have much experience with this design.

Do the stands have any effect on bouncing low frequency waves from the walls or are they "only" reducing speaker vibration?
@AcousticFields3 жыл бұрын
Low frequency wave energy does not "bounce". It oscillates through our rooms like ocean waves. It goes through everything and when it doesn't it excites the air between our walls surfaces. This air excitation is the definition of modes.

Dennis, I have a friend who has recently taken a job as a warehouse manager for a company that installs high-end audio (home theater/studio rooms, etc.)systems for celebrity-class clients. It is not my privilege to divulge the name of this company. Nonetheless, I have seen your video/ads in which your company is actively seeking "dealers". Would this company fall in the category of said, "subcontractors/dealers"? I'd like to give my friend a good lead. thanks.
