Yikes that's a lot of rust and would drive me crazy lol. I just carry an oily rag and wipe blades often. Patina is good but seeing all that rust made me shudder. Great time guys!

If I start making knives, i`ll just leave on the scale and/or burned oil from hardening on the non- edged parts of the knife, that should protect against corrosion.

Odniosę się do jednej rzeczy, o której wspomniano. Osobiście nie chciałbym kroić żywności, a zwłaszcza mięsa nożem, który ma powierzchniową rdzę. Na poważnie nikomu to nie przeszkadza?

Bunczu Nie wiem czy nikomu, ale mnie nie. Podobnie jak nie przeszkadza mi jedzenie przygotowane nożem z patyną na ostrzu, ani gotowane/smażone w naczyniach żeliwnych.

The only way your knives rustes, is because you dont know how to take care of them. Its better you stay out of the woods. Simple as that. Cityboy.
