I agree with some of what you say about punishing taxes. As for CO2... It is not an emission. it is an element on the periodic table. It is found in just about all organic material including you. Co2 makes up less than 1/2 of 1% of our atmosphere. That would be 0.04% CO2 is essential to photosynthesis. in plant growth. With out CO2 in the atmosphere we will have an extinction event of plants followed by us animals. As for global warming the average temperature of the earth fluctuates and through ice core test and historic information we can tell the earth was on average 2 degrees warmer during the time of the roman empire. I don't remember reading about gas and diesel powered chariots. over the last 20 years the data states that we are in a cooling trend in the arctic and antarctic. If you listen to scientist that don't have to worry about loosing funding. you will soon discover that we are actually in a CO2 drought that we won't recover from. don't worry there is still enough for our life time. so no extinction yet. But just know we are on the wrong course when it come to CO2.

Its not. a Tree can absorb about 40kgs Tops of Co2 annually. one single Car requires about 5 TONS to produce. you do the math. Canada has roughly 318 billion trees. I Excel Charted it at one point. it eventually works out to about a deficit of about 7 billion tons of Co2. JUST FROM CAR MANUFACTURING. If were pulling all the Data from JUST canada we still dont equal out and also gives a inaccurate result as Co2 and other contaminants in the air dont just stay in once place or remain in one countries borders. so the Car manufaturing in China effects us here. which means were back to the 7 billion Ton deficit i mentioned before. About 60+ years ago life in Canada was very good. Life was much cheaper. Also, there were lots of jobs. True story of a Russian man and his family dating to 60+ years ago. The man worked in a factory and supported his wife and two children. He walked to work and walked to get groceries. His wife did not work. Eventually he bought a car and a house. Later he bought another house as an investment. Some time after that he bough a hobby farm. His place of work provided him and his family with dental and medical benefits. He provided well for his wife and children. He later sold the house and did not have to pay capital gains tax on it. As well he also sold his hobby farm and did not have to pay capital gains tax on it. He and his family were not rich but were financially secure and comfortable. Imagine trying to do that now! Our lives have gotten so expensive that a husband and wife working can barely afford to do the same. Some way and some how the deficit must be reduced and the budget balanced. Otherwise our taxes will keep increasing and there will be new taxes to pay. Never mind what the Liberals say. Remember what Poilievre said: NUMBERS DO NOT LIE - but the Liberals do.

Trudeau made some kind of a deal with Wab in Manitoba. He cut MB fuel tax in exchange for taking a glut of new immigrants. ‼‼Regarding the Canada Carbon Rebate program. If you live outside a Census Metropolitan Area CMA, you are entitled to a 20% supplement to the rebate. Unless, like myself, you do not have Canada Post Service, so are forced to get mail service a Post Office with a Postal Code that happens to fall within a CMA, then CRA sees you as ineligible for the 20% supplement! As the entire program is based on Postal Code! This effects not only myself, however likely THOUSANDS of Canadian taxpayers. I have written to my Conservative Member of Parliament [John Barlow], the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, the Liberal Minister of Revenue and the Commissioner of the CRA regarding this issue/oversight, but have yet to receive a response from any of them. I have received the 10% supplement in the past two years, however have been determined to be ineligible for 2024! If you live in a rural area close to a CMA and do not have Postal Service, check your Canada Carbon Rebate notice, you also may not be getting what is owed/promised to you by Justin Trudeau and the NDP Liberal collation
