I grew up collecting the 5-inch ToyBiz X-Men. In my early 20's I fell in love with the 6-inch ToyBiz. They have such charm, and look great on display in package. You couldn't beat the value; a figure, accessory, a BAF piece, a comic book, and sometimes a trading card or diorama piece.
@CarbonScoring3 жыл бұрын
YES! The inclusion of the comic was key - not only did you learn more about the character, but I wonder how many people got into comics after reading one from Marvel Legends? Didn't hurt that they usually included really key issues...

Out of all the Spiderman action figures you have, the McFarlane stands out as the best Spiderman action figure ever made. It has the articulation and the texture and sculpting looks amazing. I've had that figure for almost a decade and it's still my favorite. I have 3 versions of Marvel Legends Incredible Hulk and my favorite is the Face-Off version. I feel that's the Iconic one that I grew up seeing. Nice collection !!

Awesome man! Thank you so much and glad to have you on board. I am not speaking ill of Stan Lee, but I appreciate you also recognizing that Kirby and Ditko were the drivign creative forces behind the early Marvel Universe. None of it would have happened without their synergy with Lee, but we have gotten multiple figures of Stan, how about we get some figures of Ditko and Kirby (I know, I know, but a guy can dream, right?)
@stephenbamford28293 жыл бұрын
@@CarbonScoring Wouldn't that be something! Not a lot of reference out there for Steve but wow we could get Kirby through the ages-scrappy wise guy slapping Jack, Sgt Rock Kirby, Bullpen Boxset Kirby and the historic Sinnott/Kirby meeting two pack etc. Fingers crossed that the FF anniversary Haslab is a window box reproduction of the cover of FF #1 with the team in their pre-costume civies battling Giganto. I've even been able to Army Build figures some would think of as Peg Warmers. I bought 4 Xialing's, head swapped 3 and did a 'Shang Chi's Sisters/Daughters of Fu Manchu' based on the 4 fictional Daughters of Fu Manchu in movies and books. Ling Moy, 1931 film Daughter of the Dragon, daughter of Fu Manchu Lin Tang, Hammer movie series (5 movies), daughter of Fu Manchu Fah Lo Suee aka Zheng Bao Yu, book and comics daughter of Fu Manchu Xialing, current movie daughter of Fu Manchu aka Wen Wu aka Mandarin. Also Army Building Hood with head swaps for Kingpin Organization, and Loki and other 'Suited' figures into a Maggia. Marvel has done Hydra, AIM, and a little bit of Hellfire Club, but it's been rough getting Street Level minions. Love the Hood buck to have black gloves, and come with 2 extra heads, Black and Asian! You could build all kinds of Street Gangs or Biker Gangs out of that!
