it's a relatively important dungeon for early levels. it's the first smithing stone ball bearing in the game. I don't remember a rune bear though 🤔 only a mausoleum edit: hilariously you can get the same item picked up from the butt about 15 seconds away from the entrance

@@Joel62525 Is it near the Mausoleum Compound? Because there IS a Runebear that's pretty much straight west from the Site of Grace, and I think that's right above this cave's entrance. But yeah, that damn jump killed me like twelve times. And I think this was my first time coming across Crystallians, and finding that my katanas didn't work well (before breaking their armor, at least). This was the second dungeon where I swapped to using the Rusty Anchor.

This is amazing, we explored literally hundreds upon hundreds of locations , but Miyazaki has giving us an emotional damage in every location, to the extent that we will remember even a 4 platforms jump and how much we got traumatized by it !!

Yeah, my habit through most of the game was "play a bit," "get more runes than I felt like using but not enough to spend," "teleport to the best rune farming spot available and farm enough runes to level," "return to adventuring."

I think my toughest bit of platforming was getting down into Jarburg, since that's the only way down. I tried both on foot and on Torrent and ended up doing it on foot because of how fiddly Torrent can be on smaller surfaces like those stones stuck in cliffs.

I genuinely don't remember which one this is and I couldn't be bothered to remember because they are practically the same. 0:09 Lots of messages on ledges and some smithing stones. 0:12 The usual enemies here are those miners obviously. They are tanky, but they are manageable when there is no Kindred of Rot spamming arrows at you. Also they mostly ignore you until you get too close. 0:16 And the usual treasure behind some platforming because Elden Ring as every other From game are nothing more than very ambitious platformers to challenge all the Marios and other Oris. 0:23 Always pick those up... who cares this is probably like second level stone and you possibly already have a bell bearing that lets you buy them at Roundtable. 0:26 Bloodstains show how other players died. They can be informative, horrific or hilarious... mostly hilarious. 0:31 Until you are one of the hilarious ones... Better pick up those runes quickly or you will be at risk of being laughed at in some Elden Ring video. 0:33 And ALWAYS send the elevator back up. Your psyche will be spared 0:35 Yeah... I've been there "I PRESSED THE JUMP BUTTON DAMMIT!!!" 0:37 From at least didn't give enemies ability to laugh at you... yet... 0:43 I know there are runes there, but... pick those up... As I said, you open yourself up to greater humiliation. 0:45 YEEEESS!! It's a great feeling and don't worry... there are worse platforming sections... way worse... 0:50 I think it's good symbolism of this item being just useless shit (that's at least what I guess)... 0:55 Other players can also be seen in your world as ghosts if you are online. The fact that it's not shown probably means it's nothing worthwhile. But at least Carbot did it. 1:01 Some more appreciation from others also the fat guy in a hat has a set of Lionel who while not being a character you meet does have some backstory behind him which I may talk about once we get to certain Huggable boss. 1:06 Carbot is ready to face gravity 1:10 Always watch out for pressing jump without moving, it makes you step back... usually to your doom 1:14 And this trio of "I hate everything" are called Crystalians who come in variety of forms... 1:16 DS3 R1 Spammer 1:18 DS1 Mage 1:21 And that one guy who played Kingdoms of Amalur with those sick blade disks 1:24 My advice is to use a hammer. You can't hurt them all that much, you have to first break their armor which happens when you stun them and hammers are the best against them, after that they are not that hard to kill. Unless we talk about the Caelid version which is nothing more than cancer... Pure cancer... Figuratively and literally. 1:27 Good luck
