Carbs part 4- Bench Sync/ Pilot Air Fuel Mixture Screw Adjustment Clog. Honda Magna V45 VF750C

I spent $1300 getting my carbs rebuilt. After watching alot of youtube vids i believe i could have done it myself and saved

@chickenslothstudios699 exactly. He was suppose to call me to let me know how much it would cost. He didn't. They put plastic zip ties on all of the fittings of the fuel hose instead of pipe clamps . I did find a place on net that would have rebuilt for $400

I'm sorry but I doubt these carbs are going to work the way they are - they look filthy still and I almost bet you that the internal jets are clogged up if the backside butterflies are any indication of what the internals look like. I know it's a bunch more work but you might want to pull them completely apart and go through them more thoroughly so save yourself additional aggravation down the road. Regardless I wish you the best of luck and hope everything works out for you in the end - these are awesome motorcycles!

Amigo un saludo desde Costa Rica . Mi pregunta es ? Tengo un carburador Honda Magna VF750C 82 y el carburador no trae esos agujeros donde tú estás poniéndole esas agujas de aire los agujeros estan sellados por ese lado solo,tienen unos agujeros abiertos por el otro extremo y intente ponerle las agujas y no tienen rosca y le busque y no encontré donde se le regula el aire a este carburador . De la magna . Te agradeceré tu información . Por qué quiero montarle otro caburador de ese mismo que tú estás reparando que si trae los agujeros de las agujas . A ver qué me dices

No hate, but all you need is 2 vacuum Guages from autozone lol u get a perfect sync

If it works, use it! I’ve had my mercury gauges since the 1990’s. Never needed to upgrade yet.

@mcycleshawn oh so you use that method after the bench sync, I got you! I thought this was all you did for the sync my bad!

@@adammilan6434 I do a vacuum sync on the bike when it’s installed to dial it in. Although I just realized I never did on the 82 Maxim 750 that I just took for test ride🤦🏻‍♂️

Your cousins' long suit is not attention to detail. Those carbs look filthy from where I'm setting.
