मेरा आपसे सवाल है कि मेरी बाइक डिस्कवर 150cc जो कि 2010 मॉडल लगभग 50k चल चुकी है क्योंकि में उसकी पूरी देखरेख करता रहता हूं तो वो बिल्कुल अभी भी OK कॉन्डिशन में है उसमे जो कार्बोरेटर है उसमे ऑटो चोक है और उसमे बटरफ्लाई नही है जैसे कि पल्सर बाइक में होता है मुझे जानना की इसके कार्बोरेटर को कैसे ट्यून करेंगे मैंने बाहर मैकेनिक से भी कराया पर ठीक नही हुआ फिर मैंने किसी से पूछा ओर मिक्चर स्क्रू को हाफ हाफ करके लगभग ढाई चूड़ी खोल दिया लोकल में तो एवरेज ठीक हो गया पर फिर हाईवे पर कम एवरेज मिलने लगा कार्बोरेटर को खूब अच्छे से वाश भी कर लिया अगर आप बता सके कि इसका जो मिक्चर स्क्रू है उसको किस तरह से ट्यून करें और कितना करे

Check the carburettor. It's mostly dud in this bike. I don't know why, this is what it mostly is. Change it with a Pulsar one and you should see a massive difference. Suggesting, given the clutch is alright.

Idling screw is linked to throttle cable. Fuel screw controls the orifice hole i guess

I thought I will just write down the procedure for carb tune up. 1st to increase the ideling screw so that the engine doesn't stall that easily. 2nd Then rotate the setting screw in clockwise direction till the engine stalls So this will be the starting point. 3 rd Star rotating the screw anti clock wise till the engine starts revving very nicely and fast , you will understand the sound when you do it. Now reduce the idleling back to bare minimum so that engine runs slowly but doesn't stops. One can do finer adjustments after riding for some time on the go. Before you do this the engine should be warm , like you can drive the bike for 3-4 km and should have sufficient fuel in the tank. Please rule out other problems like air filter , choke cable issues, clutch plates issues if this is not working. Sir your enthusiastum and appreciation for our video is really welcome and encouraging.

Try rotating the fuel screw anticlockwise just 7-8mm and check if RPM increases. Also, it's a good practice to pour injector cleaning fluid in the petrol tank once in a couple of months to keep the carb and fuel lines clean.

Given that the frame is properly bolted: 1. Low fueling is usually the culprit. 2. If fueling is fine, the next is the engine oil. Switch to Motul. Semi-synthetic or fully synthetic whichever you want. 3. Resolving the above two should take care of most of the issues. However, if you still face issue, clutch plates might need a check; but trust me, you won't need to come to the third point!!

As much as our understanding goes,, there is no such thing as fuel efficient setting,,or any specific company setting, if we try to give less fuel,, the engine wont run properly, and we have to control it with trottel, or by frequently changing gears,, and will heat up the engine, which is not good on the long run, Excess fuel, is also no use as it is wast, it doesn't give any extra performance. For optimum fuel efficiency we also have to take care of ,, parts also like air filter , spark plug, tyre pressure, riding habits etc..

Step 1: Check the spark plug. If fouled, check the carburetor for debris. Get it cleaned, including the jets. If the spark plug is badly fouled, chipped, then better to replace it. Step 2: Check the air filter. If dirty, clean it or replace it. Step 3: If doing the above two doesn't solve the issue, please ensure that the cable is not too tight. If it's not the issue or if none of the above steps solve the issue, the culprit could be the clutch plates. Hope this helps.

@@tamingtage4384 Well...the sparks are digitally controlled according to ignition requirements, so what you see outside on the spark plug may not be how it behaves in running conditions. As you have not mentioned the colour of the left spark plug, it is impossible to do a diagnosis. Ideally, in a DTSI system, the plugs are in series: which means both have to be replaced at the same time. Don't go by the mechanic's "chalta hai" sermon. I hope I answered your question.

Bike is good but bike parts are very expensive and bike getting many problems, in the carburator dust is coming and bike getting stopped for driving it's very good and comfortable so if company work on this bike properly it defeat bullet bike.

I suggest you find a good private service centre or a known mechanic. Motorcycle is not rocket science, plus carburetor-based motorcycle such as the Bajaj V15 has a simple engine layout. Bajaj service centres are not up to the mark. I think I need to make a video how service centres and cunning mechanics fool customers .

My bike after last servicing Started heating a lot even after 2-3 kms of ride and the exhaust sound also increased. I went back to mechanic ,he said he tuned carburetor and again adjusted it But m still unsatisfied bike is still heating a lot n exhaust sound is still unusually loud.

Actually we don't know that exactly, as there is no gauge there,, but best way is to keep it just high enough to keep the bike running comfortably,, if it is kept on higher revs it starts losing engine breaking.

You might need to check the throttle cable for stuck-ups or bends. Every 4-5 months, it helps if you pour in some engine oil or WD40 in the throttle cable form the handlebar end.

Ah...interesting question indeed. Dr. Vivek specializes in pain management surgeries and an adept one at that. He knows the human body like the back of his hands. Mechanicals of a motorcycle are relatively easy.
