I bought the 1.6 petrol in 2016; paid £11500 for it brand new when they were clearing out stock. 5 years later I’ve still got the vehicle, 85000 miles later and I average 47mpg. It’s a joy to drive as the suspension is firm and handles beautifully; better than some sport versions of some manufacturers. Gearstick is super slick and it’s great on a country road. If you’re looking for a used one go for an SZ-T 1.6 petrol manual and you won’t be disappointed

You say it isn't good looking, but I think it is very good looking, and way better than the Skoda you recommend for just the extra headroom in the back.

Del Mac i like the styling too. How a car looks to the potential buyer is a personal matter so i usually don't listen to any reviewers opinion on "looks". It's like some people like how the nissan juke is designed, but personally i find it hideous.

I think it would be more useful to quote MPG figures that are actually achievable and not the ones quoted by the manufacturer who have tested it on a rolling road.

I will always buy an S Cross or any Suzuki car purely for reliability.. I know that the swift. baleno. Ignis. Etc are ugly cars but sometimes you need to take into consideration the solidity of a car.. And i don't know other manufacturers better than suzuki in terms of price Vs quality
@alandavies1054 Жыл бұрын
I agree about the reliability 100%. A while ago we had a Celerio as a second car and it was great. Sometimes it would sit outside in winter for 3 or 4 weeks and not be used but when you did use it…it started on the first flick of the key every time. Suzuki are very underrated 👍

Oh Suzuki. If you only cared about the America market. If you only tried. Even a little like hyundai and Kia tried. I could be driving my SX4, or Kazashi.
@veronicam.93969 жыл бұрын
joe b excuse me, when you say America, are you talking about USA? Cause we have the sx4 s-cross available in Panama. (I'm asking seriously, not trying to make a joke or anything)
@jonathanschiller31299 жыл бұрын
+Veronica M. unfortunately he does mean usa. Our market doesn't appreciate cars like this too much, Subaru has finally started to grow in this market after years of making fantastic cars. He is right, if Suzuki tried they could make it. The last sx4 we had was in 2010 and it was much cheaper feeling. this 2014 UK model is fresh and refined
@veronicam.93969 жыл бұрын
+Jonathan Schiller I got my S-Cross about a month ago, working fine till now. The roof is not so low as said in this video "BECAUSE" I bought the model without sunroof. The engine is a bit noisy, but as I said, till now is working fine. I'll keep you updated, but I honestly feel that my previous car (Suzuki Ignis) was a lot better when I bought it.

Nice to see new Suzuki products.....even though here in the US they bailed. I wish they at least tried to make it here....I really liked their auto's. (the actual Suzuki's not re-badged Daewoo's.)

A good car apparently, though for looks I would take the Nissan and for practicality and value I would take the Yeti. Never the less not a bad contender from Suzuki, surprised that it drives so well. For looks the front is bothering me - it suffers from way too big headlamps and overall just looks heavy. Good Review thanks ;)
