This device is not working for me, rats came easily and damaged the wires, finally I think the rat mash is the solution but there are lot of disadvantages of ratmash as well, I think car companies should provide some solution for this

I have tried n number of solution given online, like tobaco, peppermint oil, neem oil, moth balls, rat spray, etc but nothing worked. But peppermint oil stopped rats for like 2 days though, but its very tedious to apply the oil daily. After all these I ended up buying CARCAT, it started working from day 1. Now there are no rats in my car.

Yes, correct. Insert positive first and negative. Then insert fuse. While removing, remove the fuse 1st. negative and then positive.

Start weekly will manage battery provided you run vehicle for 1 hour or so , after starting - so that battery gets properly charged. I forgot to start one weekend and when I went to start next weekend - battery was fully down 👎 So, please be watchful

Ultrasound won't be audible to human ears. Just do video recording from your mobile , it records ultrasound and you can hear when you play video

Yes, battery drains if you don't start car every week. Coming to ultrasound, please raise concern with customer support and they'll replace the device or you can even ask for a refund if you don't like

Covering as you mentioned is possible but it's skilled labour. Not being done in the brand service center, so we need to do at risk outside

Effectiveness is same as I have explained in video. Not a 100% solution but no wire cut happened from rats after installing this device. Rat enters though

I'm still using and it's same as shown in this video. Overall, I rate 3.5 out of 5 - as the battery drains fast if you keep the car idle for a week continuously... As I mentioned in the video, it's not 100% perfect solution...

Carcat product just delivered to me today because mouse is moving inside my car engine area at night time and also I was keep my car inside the body cover too. I don't want to use 3m spray because of health problem may occur so can I hope, I will get some relief in this problem? You should start your car every 3 days for 30 mins. Otherwise, your battery will be down when running carcat

May be your car running with some other systems like anti-theft mode or something else.... I will share my experience here and I will attach the device after getting information about the watt so how many days it will survive, I can get exact information.

Sure. I didn't mean to say the battery will be totally down in 3 days ! Fully charged battery will do till 1 week but good practice to start car every 3 days to maintain good battery charging level. But after 10 days or so of keeping car idle, even ignition won't work!! They have written in user manual also to start car every week or so.

It definitely consumes battery. If you don't use your car for 7 to 10 days, the battery goes down. In the product page, they've actually mentioned to turn on the car once in a few days, so that the battery charges.

Thanks for watching the video and appreciation. Yes, I'm still using it and it's the same as shown in the video. I use 3M spray as well along with this. Please be informed that device won't block rodents entry but it creates irritating waves and rodents will move out in few minutes. I suggest you to try with 3M spary first. Don't use your car for 2 days due to smell. With this, rodents should stop for sometime. If you are allergic to 3m spray, you can buy this device by keeping limitations in mind as shown in video

I'm still using it, it's working as is. No rat bytes in wiring since I started using this device. But rats rodents will enter inside but they won't stay. Dropping noticed few times but at small extent. Few things to note - 1. Unless you run car for 30 mins or so a couple of times a week - the battery gets discharged due to this device. 2. Don't turnoff default beep from this device. Doing so will reduce irritations to rats rodents. 3. No actual solution exist to resolve rats problem fully. So, I use 3M spary as well once in 2 months along with this device. I've installed rat mesh near AC vent as well. These are collectively working as workaround with car cat device as major player here but not a solution to problem. It totally minimises rat problem by 90% - remaining 10% is problem with droppings if I don't use 3M spary every 2 months

Yes, I apply 3M spray myself and did it yesterday once. I bought it from Amazon: amzn.to/41VxuDf But ensure to take below precautions - 1. Apply safety glass, gloves & face mask , when spraying. It's a very strong odour & spray gas moves to long distance. 2. Wash engine bay clearly & dry before applying. 3. Apply only in shadow. Either before 8am or after 7pm. 4. Apply when the engine is not started from last 10 hours atleast. 5. After applying, don't start the car for 2-3 days. 6. Don't apply on glass, as it cannot be removed. Sorry if it looks over -information !!

In simple terms - it's not 100% effective, rodents will enter but they don't sit for long to cut wires. Only major problem is that it drains the battery, if you keep the car without starting for 1 week stretch. I spray pepper mint oil in between and also use 3M rodent repellent along with carcat.

It's the same since the beginning. Functional as expected. It will not stop rodents entry but distracts rodents with ultrasound which makes them disappear in a few minutes - few droppings are still seen. No wire cutting done by rats/rodents, as they can't stay for long. Battery drains if you don't start your car every week, as in the user manual. This ultrasound device alone can't be the solution, I'm using 3M spray outside the car , like near wheels etc. Moreover, there can't be single solution to rats problem, as they get used to any new trick. This ultrasound device is just one of the tricks. So, you can't expect 100% effectiveness. In my experience, it's 80% effective. But 100% effective to car battery if you don't start your car once a week for 1 hour or so 😅

I went to 3M and did the proper rodent treatment, which is as good as spraying their solution by ourselves :D, after that for 10 days or so there was no issue but then they get used to that, I tried Liqui Moly rat repellent it was effective compared to 3M one but then they got used to that as odor fades over the period of time. Then I tried keeping tobacco + naphthalene balls pouches, with their smell they stopped for a while and yesterday when I went to check car after 5 days of no drive, all of those pouches were cut by rats and kept on one side in the car, that's how smart they really are, I am spraying pepper mint oil mixed with water as well, it makes them stay away for while, but yeah basically the way I see it, there is no solution :(.

I brought this product but it is useless against rodents.. it will stop only small mice and not bigger ones. I will tell you a suggestion, please place glue trap on front two wheels this will avoid you getting rats on your hood and save your 4k hard earned rupees.

When I was buying, it was rated 3.9 on Amazon. But no perfect solution on the earth for rodents or rats. This product works but drains the battery unless you start car every alternate day. Stops rat's stay in car but not entry. I'll upload another review by December.
