Another good report, I like your take on these reports Lauren, you talk about the sort of things people need to look for when buying a car, not just reading the road tests. However, I think you will find that this Merc has the new straight 6 cylinder engine, not the V6 that you said. The reports I have seen indicate this new engine is a real peach!

Bought a '22 a few weeks ago...listed as a CPO with about 4500 miles. I'm the first regiestered owner...dealer had used it as a company car. Absolutley love the way it drives and handles. The power train is so refined and powerful. A joy to drive, as your review says. But the MBUX is a pain in the butt. Much too steep a learning curve. Cannot get it to give voice directions for navigation, which is too bad, because the navigation system is better than any I've had earlier. Mercedes ME help line seemed like they could be useful but stopped responding after a while. Dealer dumps this stuff off onto their sales people...when they really should have a team assigned to help people with the technology. Bottom line is that I don't think this car is totally appropriate for older people. Young folks who are used to screens and all that will probably have no toruble. Geezers may be frustrated.

Nice review, please note this is an in-line 6 engine, not a V6 as it was before this 48V mild-hybrid powertrain.

Great review as usual. Just way too many things to go wrong and require expensive repairs down the road. Once the warrantee is up, look into taking out a second mortgage to cover costs.

A lot of confusing videos not matching or available on an E450. Some of the exterior driving shots look like an E53, and those performance seats aren’t available on the E450.

Loved the review! Wondering if you may have any information or insight as to why the E450 4Matic I ordered a few months ago is expected to take months (possibly July or later) to be built. I've ordered massaging seats, and was told by the dealer Mercedes is having trouble getting parts for the seats. I do understand that due to COVID, Mercedes plants in Germany were closed for a period of time and are now ramping back up, but this seems to be an extraordinarily long time.

This is an awesome review! First time I see your KZbin channel. I have a question, when I save my own theme it doesn’t save the ambient lighting that I choose. When I select the themes the car already came with it does change the ambient lighting. Any idea why it’s not saving it when I save my own theme? The theme should save, you might need a software update. Call the local Genesis dealer. The can send a reset to your car and an update. Thanks for the kinds words and the sub.

How come car reviewers never talk about the reliability record of these automobiles? Massaging seats and ambient lighting does not mean a damn thing if the car has a record of the shhiiitt not working after 30 or 40,000 miles. How important are the digital screens when the transmission has a record of giving out?

Reliability decline in late model Mercedes is a significant problem these days especially with new engine designs. Can you comment on what is known about this car since it has been out for over a year now. Also, the MB air suspension system is known for massive and expensive failures in past vehicles and is generally known as something to be avoided. Is it standard on all new e450s? Thanks!

It appears you changed cameras or lenses. The entire video seems as if you used a “Fish lens” camera and your face and vehicle image from interior is distorted. Otherwise, great video!!!! We only were able to test drive the loaded car, I will have to locate one with out the hair suspension.

THank you. The best way to be sure your family will fit is to bring them to the dealer, that includes car seats, this way you can see how it fits into your life. Believe me the kids will offer their opinion. Hope this helps.

HI I recently bought a Mercedes E-Class 4 Matic 350 2021 model. It is, in my opinion top of the line with gesture features Ext. However, I am having problems with basic features like vertical & parallel parking, Autopilot and automatic seat adjustment when you are getting out of the car (sometimes these work and sometimes these don’t without my changing any feature.

You might want to take it back to the dealer and have the service department take a look at it. That should not be the case. It is a very nice vehicle.
