I don't trust dealerships. The very word gives me the creeps. It makes my skin crawl. I have bought new and used vehicles from dealerships and every time they try to do something funny as if i had just been born. I am glad they cannot get to sell all their cars. Good. Karma is after them. I have been ripped off by Ford dealerships more than once. Let them go out of business. They dont deserve my pity. Scums.

Tesla stock has lost 60% since 2021🤔 Doesn't sound like a good investment to me 😕 Now Tesla is slowing down it's Supercharger system, fewer new charging sites. Tesla also is laying off 10-15% of it's workforce 🤨 EV is about to become a deep hole filled with taxpayers money 💰😡

Monitor, Keyboard, mouse, auto raising desk, Chair, Phone holder, Phone itself, Cable charging the phone, laptop, my sun glasses, Trash can, Printer, Pen holder, arm rest.....except me, every thing around me is made in China. What makes a different to me if my Car is also made in China?

I've given up on EV's due to insurance that's already peak costs, a 6 year old Tesla costs $10/mo more than a brand new Porsche valued at twice the cost... figure that one out. Also in the minor hits of my EV's bumper I've never been able to get authorized repair, Tesla Service doesn't offer collision repair unless you live in a major city nor have they been authorizing independent shops for the last couple years I've looked in my area.

My elderly buddy just did this because his insurance tripled. He has never made a claim. Drives a 2006 Honda. Now with State farm he took the 10% discount and plugged the device in to the OBD 2 port. He only drives maybe 20 miles a week. I don't see how the monitoring device could harm the car's computer unless it's programmed to alter the perimeter's of the computer. The onboard computer is running calculations many times a second while he's driving around. Something that just monitor's and reports basic data should not affect the life of the computer. If asked by my insurer Farmer's I'd pass even if they offered a discount they can retract any time they want and raise premiums over something they don't like. These companies know way to much about us already. Give the device back and say no thank you.

Does that annual cost of unionized workers in the auto industry include fringe benefits like health, dental, vision and pension costs? If a automotive industry union worker makes $100k per year than you can bet the real cost for each workers is $150k per year to the OEMs when you factor in fringe benefit costs. This is why Tesla’s modular car “Boxed” assembly is going to eliminate North American jobs when adopted my manufacturers like Toyota, Stellantis, and Others. If Chinese Automotive Makers establish a foothold in North America Market this will take massive market shares the current OEMs in the North American Market.

Smart ICE manufacturers will transition to Non-Plug-in Hybrids, which are super efficient, have smaller batteries, and don't have range anxiety or gearboxes. Rare earth resources will stretch further, less stress on the electric grid & more companies will survive. Tesla needs to be forced into lifting its game rather than relying on tax credits. If people are so privileged that they don't want to DRIVE their car, scrap FSD & subsidise small taxis. This won't go down well, but EV performance limits should be implemented for economy & safety.

It’s the Biden policy to convert a free and open market to a government controlling industry China philosophy. If this continues the US auto industry will go the way of the dodo and we’ll be buying Chinese EV’s.

@@S2NAZ judging from how difficult and expensive modern cars, both ICE and EVs have become, you very well may be right about that. The cars that are currently 15 years old and older are far less complex making them cheaper to repair as long as parts can be obtained. The 90s through 2010 vehicles seem like the best bet although I still have vehicles here going back to 1950 that are in running condition after 75 years!

$108K in San Jose, CA is not the same as $108K in Chattanooga, TN. Average price of home in San Jose = $1.41M. Chattanooga = $325K. Gallon of gas in SJ = $5.44. CT = $2.96. The left is just so out of touch. They have absolutely no idea how business works.
