After owning a 2002 Lexus Es330 for almost a decade, I gave it to my sister and she's very happy with it. I just bought myself a very well maintained 2007 Es350 that's just like this but pearl white with beige interior. I have to say I'm in love with it. It rides smoother than my new Mercedes Benz GLK-350 truck.

stephlovekfc i would say a 2010 best! Which is the one I own! It’s runs perfectly! And also be mindful of the mileage. A lot of people buy into the “ lifetime” ATF and does not change it. Doing a carfax will help you double check that because if it’s too late 100k plus and it has not been changed...it may be damaged already. I would also recommend 2008 over. I am Not sure what or why. May be people notice that the lifetime oil was BS so they started changing the fluids? But there is less complaint or almost none about the trans failing. Do your research brother! Good luck

They recommended premium gas cause you get full hp and torque on higher octane gas. The car will run perfectly fine in regular you just won't get those peak power numbers. You will lose a small percent of power using regular. But it will not damage anything. That's why the later es350 hp and torque ratings are lower than the older models. Newer ones were rated on regular gas and older models were rated using premium gas.

It's at a high end dealership with 200k cars and G series Mercedes, that wants it off the lot. I'll be doing a carfax and a good going over but I think it's legit. The passenger rear upholstery appears to be damaged from a child seat but the dash and carpets etc look great. It's got the black interior so if the dash was going to crack it should have considering the car is black and the clearcoat is in rough shape on two panels, and the hood is not perfect either, but it isn't on my Z-71 either!

I’m in the process of buying one (2009 with navigation etc) ..52,000 miles and super clean ($11,400) but I’ll admit I’m scared of the maintenance costs ..... if you take it to a Lexus’s dealer for service I think the costs will be really high. But for $11,400 for a like new ES 350 that drives superbly I guess I’ll take a chance If anyone can afford it I would recommend a 2018 (or newer) Toyota Camry LE ...I have one and no its not as smooth or quiet as the Lexus but it’s smooth and quiet enough and has a lot less unnecessary “stuff” to break and that “stuff” really doesn’t add that much to the Lexus .... I doubt you will find one with 52,000 miles for $11,400 though which is why I’m going to give the Lexus a try.

I had plans to buy a 5 or 6 year old ES 350 even though my 2002 Camry V6 is still going strong with 250,000 miles. It's a Kentucky Camry and the paint just isn't the same quality as Made-in_Japan, so the clear coat started doing the peeling sunburn affect 5 years ago and not really wanting to put down $3000 for a repaint (even though I always over-maintained it so it still runs almost like new.... that's the dilemma a lot of us Toyota owners get where the car is still great mechanically but it looks worse than a rusty old battleship on the outside.) Anyway I decided to get a Lexus and an ES350 is what I'd decided on getting once I had the money to buy one outright. To pick out the "PERFECT" Lexus, I searched the used car sites several times a day for months: Carvana, Carmax, Auto Trader, Edmunds, cars.com, Auto tempest, et. al., and looking for a 2014/newer ES in Cerulean blue (the prettiest color they ever offered the car if you ask me). But after browsing several hundred listings and even test driving 5 or 6, I was no closer to buying than when I started! Because every one of them seemed like to be missing "something". Finally I realized maybe I was looking at the wrong car, decided to take a long hard look at the LS460 - and that was that. One test drive later with a good look at the styling, the features, the "magic carpet" ride, the interior room, the dash layout, and the smooth V8 power, finally made me realize I had been barking up the wrong tree all along and the LS is what I really wanted. So ultimately after searching another 100 or 200 listings, I bought a 2017 LS460 in "Eminent White Pearl" with 69,500 miles in May, 2023. This car cost $36,600 from some independent used car dealer in Costa Mesa California. The drive home was perfect, I got to do a shake-down cruise of just over 100 miles and confirmed to me this car was the right choice. It was the most enjoyable drive I'd had in a long, long time. And as I engaged cruise control around 70 mph and turned on the sound system, I could not help feeling a slight twinge of pity, as I passed the many other drivers motoring along in their other, lesser cars.
