2:25 I love drums, but I'm not super knowledgeable. That part there with the snare, would you call those ghost hits? I noticed them in Descensus too (probably in other tracks, but I can't remember off the top of my head right now).

Just noticed the same (or similar thing) at 3:14 which isn't in the studio release of it. I'm more confident those are ghost hits than the other part.
