@@dieselviper7811 I've been using the "Betfair" exchange, online for over 15 years. It's generally accepted that it is the biggest exchange so it's easier to get bigger trades through it. It isn't licensed for all countries though, being a UK firm. I also use "Betdaq" exchange which is much smaller. "Matchbook" exchange also has a reasonable reputation, I've got an account with them but have yet to run a trade.

@@brizzlex1919 Sports trading is a little like trading stocks except you "buy" and sell" prices on sports markets, so you do it in a much more compressed timescale. The markets are tiny in comparison to say The FTSE so returns are much smaller. There are lots of youtube videos showing everything from the basics of placing a trade up to strategies for exploiting various sports markets. Search Betfair trading.

What about violating the online sportsbook’s terms of service, disallowing scrubbing their sites and working in groups? All the sites are freezing players accounts. They can claim to dispute one bet and use it as justification to freeze the full account, even if it contains hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Hey Colin, first of all, great video a always. Could you help me understand something pls? I'vm looking to add indexes varition to my game. To do so i looked at Stanford Wong Full High-Low indexes on CVCX but i realize that the basic strategy on BJA and some indexes aren't the same neither for S17 nor for H17. Could you help me figure it out please?

Turned my $50 sign up free money on fan duel into $2400 last year betting basketball. Then my dumb ass decided a bass boat sounded more fun so i bought a boat… worst decision of the year. The boat ruined my marriage then i lost the goddamned thing in the divorce.. shoulda kept gambling

I want an unabated subscription really bad but I don't think I can squeeze any profitability out of it. I read and re-read the free articles on the site but don't understand how trends vs. the spread or price aren't the same as the "hot" and "cold" numbers on the sign on the roulette wheel. Also don't understand how if I obtain a favorable number by a point or two vs. the closing line it isn't just like a 0.000001% difference.

We’re not trend based. That would be the same as a roulette tote board. We’re math based. How much is a half-point worth and what is your edge relative to that. As for the value, you could compare how often a game result is within a point or two of the betting line to see how valuable that difference can be. Back test getting an extra 2 points per game on NBA for example and you'll see it's extremely valuable.

2 or 3 ACH accounts is also nice to have. DO NOT USE CREDIT CARDS. Assign 1 ACH Accout to each book you use. DO NOT USE THE SAME ACH ON MORE THAN 1 ACCOUNT. I learned that the hard way.

What about tax considerations? If you are in LA, you have to pay state income tax on GROSS winnings, not net winnings, even if you itemize you deductions federally.

Yes, there are some bad states for gambling where you can't deduct losses from wins. This applies to all forms of gambling. If you file as a professional, your net business income is reported and there's no need to itemize. The criteria for being considered a professional might be lower than you think.

You can file as schedule C professional and turn your losses into business expenses. They can't stop you from deducting losses this way. As the other comment said, people overestimate what is needed to file as a pro. I talked to some accountants who said ANYONE (even slot degens who are down money) can file as a pro as long as they gamble regularly and had the intent of making money. The big disadvantage to filing as pro is opening yourself up to self employment taxes, although this would be much preferred than paying income tax on millions in gross winnings. These states not allowing you deduct losses are absurd and immoral though. The goal is to tax income not 700% of somebody's income.

I went from AP to sports betting in 2023. Won 30k in bonus betting then lost 20k betting Unabated “edges” daily. Adding in the thousands in membership fees is like juice in the wound. Perhaps it’s bad variance, perhaps they weren’t edges at all.

Thanks for sharing your true experience, all these guys do is promote their service, there is no edge in sports betting like he says like there is no edge in roulette. You can find some value bets in live betting sometimes, but the grind/risk is definitely not worth turning it into a "full time job" - and it doesn't matter if you have access to 1 or 100 websites, he's just BSing the whole thing.

There certainly is an edge in sports betting, there are syndicates that make millions. Trick is knowing key info first, or using handicapping angles that aren't yet reflected in the market. Just betting "top down" using Unabated's screen seems enough to nullify the house edge but is not +EV on its own. @@freecryptos

Hit, Stay, or Surrender in that scenario depends on the count and your chosen rules.If the count is positive with deviations on it's a stay, if surrender is turned on it's always a surrender regardless the count. If you're playing basic strategy with no deviations or no surrender then it's a hit.

You need access to legit sportsbooks. You can find plenty of edges offshore but eventually they stop paying.

Wouldn't it be just as easy to be a bookie? You'd have to start out with a decent bankroll. Your goal is to make the vig. I did this in Texas before moving to Nevada. I gave that business to a good friend and he is doing quite well with it.

Started sportsbetting 10 months ago and made roughly 175k since. Doing it from your own home is nice because you can guarantee a way to get bets in every single day and if you get enough volume in and find enough high +EV edges the winnings compounds so quickly. Started my bankroll from 0 too, simple hedged sign up bonuses to get a start on my bankroll

I live 2 hours South of San Antonio…we can’t even Legally bet sports. Just offshore sports books. Texas is trash when it comes to gambling BUTTTT we can buy thousands of scratch off tickets 🚮😂😂😂🤦‍♂️
