Card Deck in a Bottle

This tutorial will show you how to create the impossible bottle: Card Deck in a Bottle.
Materials and tools:
(1) glass jar. You can recycle a bottle from your kitchen.
(1) New deck of playing cards.
(1) chopstick or something similar
(1) small ruler
(1) craft knife
Glue

Make a tutorial with the deck sealed in the cellophane in the bottle!!

carefully open the cellophane on top, dismantle the box and put back in the cellophane before putting it in the bottle. Do all the other steps then seal the cellophane at the end with a bit of glue

Why put the hole in the side of the deck box?

Yes, the hole shows there are real cards inside. It is easy to fit an empty box with its cellophane wrapper inside a bottle

Interesting , can you do it with the cellphone wrapper still on?

If you have the time and patience, sure you can add the cellophane at the end. Cut the bottom (3 sides) and slide the wrapping cellophane out of the brand new deck. Then at the end slide it back and glue the bottom.

First of all, I can't believe you are trying to share secrets of Impossible Bottles. Harry Eng is spinning in his grave. Secondly, put a deck of cards inside a bottle that is both sealed and has the cellophane wrapping on, and, most importantly do it without using ANY glue. Then I'll be impressed. Nice window cut on the side of the box. I was the one that started that back in 1996.

I'm new on this field of magic and puzzles so I don't expect to impress anybody yet. There is nothing wrong on sharing what I learned on my own after many tries. I'm not sharing something I learned from somebody else by reading a book or watching a video. This world is so big that hundreds of people can have the same idea at the same time on doing something or over a period of several decades. According to your message you have over 20 years of experience on this so could you share any lessons learned to the ones we just started on this art?

@@magicandpuzzles836 First of all, welcome to the field of magic and Impossible Bottles. Secondly, I also learned how to do Impossible Bottles on my own. In fact, It took me 3-1/2 years to figure it all out. Yet, I knew of the art form because of Harry Eng. I can appreciate the fact that you "learned on your own." Yet, You must have done some sort of research or saw a bottle etc. No one just out-of-the-blue so "Hey I want to put a deck of cards into a glass bottle." You kidding yourself if you expect me or anyone to believe you on that. You must have know that other people out there did it before you. And, if you did ANY kind of research you'd also know that Impossible Bottles have always been an art form that not many can do well and is not only rare but also secretive. In fact, as I mentioned in my first comment, cutting a window on the side of the card box was my idea. I came up with it. The few people before me who did the art form either didn't but the box or they cut the corner. Yes, I have been making Impossible Bottles since 2000. I started on my journey in 1996 after hearing about the passing of Harry Eng. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to divulge my way of doing Impossible Bottles after I spent 3-1/2 years learning how to do it on my own and coming up with newer and more specialized ways of creating the bottles. Harry Eng didn't teach people how to do the bottles. I won't either. What I can tell you is that you need to keep to the rules of the art form 1. Ordinary bottles from grocery stores. 2. Bottles can not be heated, cooled, cut or manipulated in any way, shape of form. 3. All items must go into the bottle through the neck. 4. All items inside the bottle must still be usable. Now, saying that, do all that while keeping the cellophane wrapping on the deck and, most importantly, you are NOT allowed to use glue of any kind. Do a little research on the art form then maybe it'll change your mind on posting videos. Oh, and the bottle you use is the same bottle that everyone seems to use to copy Jamie D Grant's Impossible Bottle that he called the "Send Wonder" bottle.

Where did you get the bottle

I bought this bottle at a Salvation Army store for .99 cents. I believe it was from an "Olde Thompson" Himalayan Pink Salt. As a reference, the bottle I used has aprox. these dimensions: diameter = 3.30", height = 5.9" (without cork).

This is one version -- the poor man's version -- of Card Deck in a Bottle, not _the_ solution. Add a padlock that doesn't fit past the neck, and I'll be a believer.
