The card that went on the ground was the 7 of clubs. The second card was palmed and placed or photoshopped in. Seems like there is a lot of video blurring of the table jumping from high definition to low definition with some card flicking almost like an overlay was there.

He controls the position of the card as he shuffles. When he spreads the cards on the table the 7 is already on the bottom. He moves it close to him. Under the table is a magnet and the chip has metal in it.

Card stayed at the bottom of the deck throughout shuffling and spread. Notice he was careful not to spread out the bottom cards much to keep the bottom card in position. Then when he flicks the chip, it follows a path which has a surface lower than the rest, like a river, back to home base right where he conveniently didn’t spread out the bottom cards.

For example, if this trick ended with the 7 materializing floating in the air above the table, no one would be impressed - we'd know it must be a camera trick. But with the trick as he does it, it feels just barely possible, even if you have no idea how. And that makes it magic.

When he shuffled the cards, he had full control of 7c. Note, that after this shuffle, he only marks a shuffle on the board. Knowing where 7c is in the deck, he placed it in the appropriate place on the table. Now all he had to do, was learn the right trick with the chip to make him fall, where he wanted.

There’s the secret he palms the top card as he springs the cards out. Sorry to be a heckler but he said he would fool even a magician and I used to do magic. Great sleight of hand and skills of course I couldn’t do it.

He has to do it that way. He's using a Svengali deck, in which every other card is a 7 of clubs, and they're all very slightly shorter than the rest of the cards. So, by holding them in a certain way, you can guarantee only showing the non-duplicated cards, while still having your "correct" card readily available everywhere. Literally one of the oldest tricks in the book.

If you staple a piece of felt taught across a board it's way easier than it looks. Granted, getting picture perfect spacing in all the cards like he did to display the face/value takes practice, but it's ready to get into 😊 its also fun if you pick up one end of the spread, so theres a peak, you can surf the peak back and forth across the cards with either your finger, or card. Its fun to mess around with, my grandfather had a few of those felt boards around so he can practice his magic while watching TV 😊

Easy, the card that fell off the table was actually a sentient card named Chuck Delvani, a notorious playing card shaped mercenary, that went under the table, asked the 7 of clubs (another undercover sentient playing card mercenary) to identify itself, and used a magnet under the table to guide the chip (with a metal core) to the correct card. Very crafty cards, those two.

In real life where a trick has to work at the first try it doesnt matter if the odds are 1/50 or 1/2million. When making a video its a difference because 1/50 can easily be "faked" with some patience.

Only thing i can think of with this, 1: card handling is fantastic so the 7 is never lost its always where he wants it. 2: the 7 gets positioned at the bottom so he can move it where to the position. 3: the chip is not a normal chip but has metal to make it magnetic. 4: the chip falls a lot faster than it should for the spin he gave it. Once it moves over its position it falls very quick. 5: he doesnt slide the pokerchip at the end and instead picks it up when he moves it in order to not show suspicious movement.

I've literally been having an argument with a guy for two days now because he thinks it would only take "about 52" attempts. I was super polite at first, tried to explain that's not what 1-in-52 means but it's a common fallacy. His reply was pasted from a Wikipedia article on probability that he clearly didn't understand and he proceeded to try and explain why I was the one who was wrong and then, like 4 replies later, he got so desperate he tried to pull a "when did I say 1-in-52 means it would take about 52 tries?"🤦‍♂️ I literally had to paste *his own words* into my reply to get him to give it up. The magnet theory is pretty good. I'm not discounting the possibility that you've actually practiced spinning the chip enough to land it where you want, or at least approximate an aid like a magnet. Some of the greatest tricks are pure skill with something that is so difficult no one can fathom you've practiced enough to do it consistently.

Trick decks are incredibly advanced these days. Special glasses and even contact lenses can help you identify face down cards within them. Practice that coin flip to land anywhere you want and you're all set.

My theory: he purs the card in the bottom, then mixes making sure the bottom card stays in the bottom, then spreads it knowing which one is it and is really good spinning the coin

Add in a magnet in the mat, with him putting the card in a specific spot. Note that he specifically moves the card to that spot. Use a poker chip with a metallic core and bam done. If you watch the chip, it really slows down the spin fast and lands with almost no additional spins. Very atypical in regards to coin spins, usually once it switches from edge spins and goes to rim spins it goes at least a few times before landing flat. This didn't, it went sideways and then was basically done spinning, like it was being pulled down into the mat. Also watch how he removes the chip from the mat, moves it to the side and then up, so as to not show the magnetic force holding the chip there. **EDIT for some additional clarity and spelling.**

They say that in magic, EVERYTHING is done for a purpose. I have to suspect that one card that flew off the table. Especially since it looks like it came off the top of the stack.

The 7 of clubs was underneath all of the rest of the cards in the wash. It wasn't mixed in, it was specifically on the bottom of the pile. Which means it was always controlled and placed there, on the bottom. If the card is controlled, we know that it was also placed in the back of the mat in that area on purpose. All we have to figure out now is how to consistently get the chip to land in the controlled area, which has space to land on that card only with no others close to that area. My guess is simply that he has perfected the spin of the chip so it tracks back to that specific point he wants it to land. He knows the angle, power, and direction to spin the chip so it lands there every time. Look at the arc of the chip: almost a perfect half circle. He didn't choose the place to start the spin at random, he knew it would travel in an arc at point A to point B, and point B is where he placed the card. There could also be assistance from the mat, which is not perfectly flat. There are two faint lines seen in the felt, and he starts the spin at the first line, and it ends on the second line. Could be magnets, could be low grooves that track the chip back to the place he wants. Or it could just be a visual aid- start the chip on line one, and make sure the target card is on line two. Bonus point - he spreads the cards diagonally to misdirect attention away from those perpendicular lines.

Easy - The card is planted on the bottom of the deck, when shuffling (standard move). When he spreads the cards out, he pushes the bottom card over to its final spot, in front of his left hand. He has practiced spinning the chip so it arcs from one hand to another, so it falls in that area.

It doesn't matter that the other card went flying(simple distraction). The selected card is shuffled to the bottom. The chip is just a matter of knowing how much pressure to spin at to get where you want it .

Here’s what I got: He just needs to keep track of the 7 of clubs during the shuffle. As the card drops off the table you can see on the other hand he throws the 7 of clubs to the side. As the chip is spinning he teachers over and grabs the 7 of clubs again, look at the way his hand is. He then switches out the card the chip landed on with the 7 of clubs.
