A tip on the black that a lot of people are doing -- buy the white pad that comes with the white reinker. However, instead of using the white reinker to ink it, use the black reinker to ink it and then just put a label on it. Then it has the same feel as your regular colored pads. Then just save your white reinker to reink your original white pad (or buy two).

Have been stamping for years but always learn something new from you! Question: what do you do to put the color dot on your refills so you can see the color they are without trying to read the label?

I took a piece of the colors cardstock and punched a dot with a small hole punch and attached it with a mini glue dot!

Personally I don't since they do dry out quicker, upside down or not, I don't worry about it and just plan to reink them.

I made my own labels for the uninked Stampin' Spots, using a similar colored permanent pen. If you had SU! pens in the right colors, you could use them.

Honestly I don't, but I think it's because I stamp frequently so they're always sitting there and I don't think about it. You can to help keep the ink at the surface.
