Lovely results. Great set. I wish Tony would do more flowers or birds or butterflies. I don’t care for the drink glasses that she did. You have inspired me to get this set out and play with it again. I kept thinking to myself to use a bigger piece of card so you can use the heart registration and then you posted that comment. Great minds, right. LOL. I think it is also important to die cut first so that the embossing doesn’t get flattened when you die cut. TFS

Thanks lovely, it’s fab, it’s called the 101 stamping platform (I think) 🫣🫣 it also comes with a score board and bone folder and a paint brush as you can pop your paint colours in the little wells, it’s a really good size as well, oh and it also has a storage case !! Lovely cards! I think if you die cut after dry embossing it tends to flatten the embossing out so best to do it the other way around as you have done. :)

I have not used my oxides very much yet and didn’t even know you could emboss them. I was just a bit confused about how you applied the talc powder to the image. Did you put it on the whole thing and then added ink or embossing ink ontop of it when you did the next layer or just put it where you weren’t going to add ink? I guess I couldn’t see well or it’s because it’s very early am the power went out at midnight. Lol

Hi Denise, yes oxides stay wet for a while, most inks you can emboss over as long as you’re quick. I just apply some talc on a powder puff all over the card before applying the embossing powder. Hope you’re powers back on 🥰🥰🥰

Your embossing buddy, otherwise known as the talc, should be used at the beginning, before the stamp so that the embossing powder doesn’t stick to other parts of the paper

It sounded to me like she used it after she was done coloring and before she heat set it so that it absorbed the moisture in the ink
