Nuevo video de gameplay de CSW, esta vez entre KOS-MOS (Xenosaga) and X (Megaman X). Por alguna razón este combate ha salido bastante mas largo que al anterior, normalmente no suelen ser tan largos. El Crisis Card Attack de X nos lo guardamos como sorpresa :3 Esperamos que os guste.

New CSW gameplay video, this time it's a fight between KOS-MOS (Xenosaga) and X (Megaman X). For some reason this fight lasted way longer than the previous ones, but they aren't that long usually. About X's Crisis Card Attack, we're keeping it as secret for now :3 Enjoy!
PD: If you are going to post "this is never coming out" or similar, you should refrain to do it, because it's, well, annoying for us and the rest of the watchers

Really awesome dude! I love watching these videos! By the way do you plan on making a tutorial on how you animate the sprites like that? I like to get the glowing explosive effects to my sprite characters as well.

Jesus christ. First time I have seen your X sprite in action. You have picked the attacks and animated them wonderfully. I especially love the detail on the Central Highway stage. Absolutely outstanding. You have my full support!

I really have to commend you guys on how this is looking so far. The spritework is just fantastic, and basically everything in what you've released shows how much care you put into what you're doing. Question, though: I've noticed that the characters seem to have their Japanese voices. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to use English or Spanish voice clips? I wasn't sure if this was because of a lack of those resources, or something intentional on your parts. Just curious, so I figured I'd ask.

@Alignn I wholeheartedly agree, although for different reasons. Fighting games nowadays are about who can get off the longest, unbreakable combos. Not like how it used to be when it was more like a bar brawl, beating each other senseless until one of you fell.

I got love for both these characters. Well done. I hope this game gets finished. You know, it is kinda of a shame the Street Fighter X Tekken is not Capcom vs. Namco, or we could have seen this in that game. Oh, well. Great job guys.

@Angelzvx I'm guessing it was because for a lot of youth, the PS1 was their first system and they skipped the SNES. Making X4 one of the most nostalgic of the titles. It's a wonderful track~ I actually love it very much, I can hear it in my head now. However the first MMX~ when doubters who first did not know how to accept this newcomer to the beloved Megaman series heard this song, a new series was born. It is the anthem of X as we know it, heralding a new age of Blue Bomber.

I loved how you guys implemented some elements from Marvel VS Capcom's Megaman, like some kicks and punches. Indeed Capcom failed big for not including Megaman X in Marvel VS Capcom 3, as well removing Strider Hiryu. ='(

Oh god X mecha I love this game Out of curiosity, though, are these both computers? It's difficult to tell how balanced the characters are if this is just MUGEN's AI going through an attack roulette.

As of right now X is the only character he has from the MMX series in the game; there is a sprite for Zero but its from the MMZ series

well Ahuron said in the comments of the valkrie video of csw that they only work on it maybe a couple of hours a day. so that's addition to the two people limit working on the game. that's why even an update takes forever. there's nothing about it to mention an update on

I have a few problems here.. starters, I kinda feel that KOS-MOS had the same attack pattern like the last three RPG fighters (Being Cloud, Etna, and Chrono) .. balance them a little. And KOS-MOS should never use SE with the SFX intact, it kinda blares a bit.. but that's just me. Overall good to see that X and KOS-MOS are both done.

Amazing, just a tip though: remove the car that passes in front of the play field. Having background objects obscure the characters is bad for a fighting game.

Not only that, but the Shoryuken can do kquick work too. And if that dosen't work, he still has the ultimate armor and an endless energy supply of Nova Strikes.

Anyway X might be one of if not the better character out the roster that's planned for the beta. He probably the hardest use, but probably the most rewarding. The fact that he's more based around ranged weapons seems more beneficial for him. He might have a pretty mean mix-up game judging from the combo he did around 3:45; if that ball he shoots can be done quicker it could make it pretty hard to dodge that. I also hope they keep his saber cross-up

I believe at the time this video was created, they only used the default AI instead of a custom one. (aka the CPU just presses random buttons.)

I really like the sprites, like the X, Cloud, and Chrono one, even the action. But not necessarily in a fighting game. Like the rpg people in action rpgs and megaman X in an MMX game but with the ability to attack, X could use some Melee like that heel kick and stuff. Link with the sprite made would be neat. I just like seeing these characters with these sprites and the way the actions are shown.

@TBOGmorris1113 It's because they already have the game NamcoXCapcom, which is not fighting, but TRPG. Both companies probably did not want Namco vs Capcom to be mixed with NamcoXCapcom, so they desisded to make Street Fighter vs Tekken instead.

@strikerk Variable X had more meaning to me as X's "Theme" than Central Highway. Moreso once the other games in the MMX series like MHX began making the meaning behind the X more important and his limitless potential. Not to mention besides Fight X! it's the only "theme" that includes his name and it has showed in other games in the series (part of X5 Opening, X6 remix) so it must have some importance, right? That's not to say Central Highway isn't awesome, because that would be a lie.

Megaman X's themes can be described as intense when put beside some of the lighter moods of the original. Is that clear enough for you? Where is the confusion?

@VAST56 My favorite Megaman game in the entire series is Megaman X3 without any doubts. I prefer the X series because of the added flavor of dashing, dash jumps, wall jumps, and charge shots as well as armor upgrades. You may enjoy the classic megaman games though, but they got really easy once the charge shot was introduced into the series.

When I heard about a Capcom X Namco game, I really thought it was gonna be like Marvel vs Capcom, but with these characters...instead it's SF X Tekken...wasted opportunities on their part. Oh well, I'm really pumped for this game.
