OMG I JUST NOW got a call watching this, and he went for the dirt talk a lot sooner then you got, when I told him the expiration date of my card was 02 2018. The foul stuff that came out of his mouth made me laugh so hard!

Ive taught my mum very well, when she gets a call she says wait one min, goes inside makes a coffee or tea come back picks up the phone and say are you still there and they say yes, so she repeats I told you to wait 1 min, so wait 1 min, then puts the phone down again selects her TV program picks up the phone and repeats. She knows not to say YES or NO and if she has to provide any details it's a scam. But if it sounds like its really from her bank she asks for their number name etc and has me call them back. Great job on this video by the way, I laughed at it when he lost it.

This included putting the phone outside ( while I supposedly walked across the fields to the shops) coming back in and having breakfast, letting an imaginary cat in and out of the house numerous times and delivering a virtual lamb from a virtual ewe including waiting for it to "baaaaa"

as long as it is genuine. Laughing without finding anything really funny is easy enough to recognize and still sounds like you're very uncomfortable and merely trying to upset someone. Faking laughter because you're angry and want to hurt someone doesn't make anyone feel unimportant except yourself.

It seemed as though every time I'd inform her, someone would try it on her within days. I've often thought someone should write up some type of list of scams so seniors could be better informed. It could be open-ended so the list could be added onto. I think you'd be the perfect person to write up a presentation & deliver it. Especially with your sense of humor! Maybe you could tape yourself talking about the old & new scams. It could be shown in all sorts of places & groups. You could save many people a lot of time, money & heatbreak! I find it hard to believe but many seniors are still falling for the "perfect guy/gal" scam online. And the scam of shipping boxes. Well, you know the list. Please consider it. You really would be the perfect person to do it! Your legacy could be that you saved umpteen people their life savings & kept them from dying of a broken heart.

I love it when I get called,I get right to the end,and say changed my mind. I ask the crook to explain it three/four times. Tell them I am a disabled vet with hearing issues. Sometimes I use a discontinued card number. The bum gets so angry curses at me,freaking love it.I end it by saying you thought I was going to give you my number,what an ass.

Man you are good ! I thought I did a good job of wasting their time but your the champ. My wife says, just say, not interested and hang up , hell that's not any fun. I told one the other day that my wallet was in the truck so I had to run and get it,I had told him that I had 17000 on my visa so he said to take my time after I drank a beer I got back on the line and told him that I checked my lottery ticket while I was out in my truck and found out that I had just won 17 million dollars so would be paying off all my debt and cutting up all my cards. I then told him that since I was rich that I would buy him a brand new camel, did he prefer 1 hump or two. Other times I tell them that I left my truck out at the main road so will have to saddle my horse to go out to my truck where I left my wallet. Most of them actually ask me how long will that take and then I explain to them that I am in Texas so it's 18 miles out to the main road but I first have to round up a few of my hands to ride along with me cause we saw some Indians with war paint yesterday. It is amazing how long you can play with these crooks before they realize they are being played. I tell the home improvement scammers that my next home improvement is to build a matching airplane hangar for my wife as I am buying her a plane also and do they also extend runways . Most of those guys are so limited that they don't even know what a hangar is. I have always heard that the easiest person to con is a con. Might be something to that.
