Man, so I have an ACR set, and i've practiced it to the point where I feel the only way for me to get better at it now is to deal with real spectators. Then I realized, a lot of the effect comes from the story telling aspect, so I decided to go through youtube and try to find some live performances where someone would have a reason why they are bringing the card to the top. And dam, the way you went from the transpo to the ambitious card routine was so smooth and motivated.

This is one of my favourite ACR of all time!! Great work Mr pat!

Wow.. so simple and straight forward. Beautiful performance Patrick. I love your style and just the aura you give off while performing. Its so casual and smooth.. well done man.

that has to be the best ambitious routine ive seen in a long time.. a VERY long time. you need to hit the road and show the world you dont need to be mysterious and "dark" to be an amazing magician.
@magicdrummer41112 жыл бұрын
I do Ambitious card pretty much on a daily basis, if someone comes up and says "can you show my friend something?" I do it a gain but add a twist to it or use different moves that way they don't catch on xD great performance man:D

Great performance Patrick! Liked the way you combined the "card transportation" at the beginning

I like the fact u do different things with cards. You do classic routines along with Cardistry like stuff as well. I've always mixed things up myself. So it's good to see you do old school and new school like card routines/techniques. I appreciate your style, it's good to see someone that is versatile like myself. You sir are far smoother. Good stuff dude.

Very good performance. I am just learning this trick and practicing the slieghts and getting a story (patter) down. Those grils were taken by suprise...you could see it. Keep up the great job.

Yes, the "story" part is called padder. its a magician term. with padder, you can make one trick into dozens, and thats all ACR really is, ive been performing my ACR for five years now and i can use one method to perform five different stories.

I know the ambitous card routine already, but the first part part where you get two people to select cards and then switch them was pretty original (at least to my knowlege :P). Your presentation was flawless was well. Overall, it gave me a lot of great tips just from watching.

I Love ACR..I remember once I thought there was a duplicate card n my first gimmicked deck was Svengali deck until I saw D.Blane performed with the signed card.freaked me out..lol..but now I know various card controls n pass in ACR..but then U guys came and freak me again..thumbs up..

@luuminhvuong I've done card to mouth in groups like that before. You almost never get caught if your crowd control is good enough. What helps is if you push the fan very close to them so they are looking directly down. Also, the audience will keep looking at the fan. Always works =)

@kzmania Yea, but it's revealing the effect to everyone watching the video, because they can replay it over and over again and see how you did it. I bought the trick, but the people who didn't will know how to do it now.

I see two dislikes prolly cause you did a simple trick. Which is rubbish, simple can also be devastating as we can see here....you handle it and did it wonderfully. You explain it's simple in the details and info so idk why you have a dislike or two. I've seen your technical card changes and card routines and there great as well. NICE VIDEO HERE.

@funzordswithnocup11 жыл бұрын
i think it would have been nice to finish off with an adaption of paperclipped but with the card in the watch. would have been a good closing. also marking the card with a signature, but still an EPIC performance

Patrick does the card transposition require a duplicate card? Because the hand sandwich I know requires one, this doesn't look like you used one. Looks great and very impromptu. Thanks

Patrick nice trick but just a word of advice if you still do this trick the way you did it then. Im try to put it to where only you will understand not to give away the effect. Even though im sure those who really want to know already know how to find their answer but anyway. When doing this trick watch everyone who is watching you. The trick should be so smooth that when been watched or videoed from any angle that none of it is giving away. But other than that I enjoyed it. Keep up the work.
