Thanks Nigel, generally if there is no lock on Yield I harvest daily and sell the yield token. Once we have yield aggregators and options to auto compound that will be a great feature

Impermanent loss to me is more of a day trader and token advisor worry. I more HODL, and the increase of tokens for the long run is my general way of function. If you believe that in general the two tokens are going up in the future, it's a different mentality. with this in mind, if one of the tokens goes way way up in price... then it's a bummer. i would imagine the real world history as a guide Imagine you provided a liquidity pair back in 2011 with bitcoin? If the pair were USD and bitcoin? your pool average would be a sliver of a coin by this point in time... not maybe 100's of thousands... but... i think you'd adjust at some point logically over time... the HODL at that point would force you to choose your heart. Thanks Paul. I get the idea. But if you have faith in underlying tokens (projects), the Loss may be recovered in any event? So let's take ADA/MIN YF, with MIN losing value against ADA, in effect you are swapping more ADA for additional MIN tokens. Almost like buying more outright. After you withdraw your liquidity, sure you may have less ADA or USD at that moment, but if MIN does really well from that point, you will be glad you were in that position. So all is not lost.

Haven't heard of any of them adding it yet but would be a nice feature. I seen Minswap added a stat to show the fees APR based on the last 24 hour volume which is a nice feature and gives a rough idea

Paul, If you only harvest the rewards... (for example minswap daily rewards) . Is there a risk of Impermanent Loss? I thought that if you withdraw only the rewards and keep everything working you would not be at risk of Impermanent loss, only if the withdraw of the liquidity occurs.

Help Paul! I’ve been farming since mid Feb on Sundae swap, then moved to minswap, but the impermanent loss has far out paced my rewards when farming Sundae token, Meld token, and Min token…has anyone made any positive returns farming these tokens? when you are not farming with a stable coin pair, it seems you must wait for the price of the token to stop dropping before yield farming

Thats because minswap as well as sundayswap are both rug pull... Magically went off grid to prevent "hack" just at the same time were ada was pumping like crazy and than you couldn't sell ur liquidity tokens for days after. yet token price was droping like crazy every hour....how? They made millions on this while pretending they were hero's and save our money. I lost over 25% of my ada between the 2 scammers. Look what is happening with tvl now.... It was all planned from the beginning... Stay away from them....

Ya for any time you provide ADA you are giving up staking rewards but with some exchanges they will soon start giving you the staking rewards too as they will be staking the ADA you provide.

True; providing liquidity for 2 stablecoins won't have impermanent loss. However, why would anyone swap 1 stablecoin for another stablecoin? So why would anyone need the liquidity provided for that pair?

exchange comaptibility. not every exchange is offering every stable

Different platforms will only allow certain stables so there are cases were you need to swap them. Some also try and arb between coins when they come off their peg

Ya if you do it longer term you generate more fees and earn more from Yield farming so that can offset more of the IL. If I was doing that I would still be harvesting yield rewards regularly and selling them off for profit too
