I watched several panel talks from the Cardano Summit 24, beside this one. I have to say I really enjoyed the panels I saw so far. These are exactly the kinds of discussions we need to have in order to advance as an ecosystem. First, we need to have a clear understanding of the bigger picture, and then ask ourselves: where does Cardano fit into all of this? I think these questions were answered very well, and in my opinion, they presented Cardano in a much better light compared to previous Cardano Summits. Because, let's be honest, the previous summits were nothing more than a big 'echo chamber,' where hardcore Cardano fans just patted each other on the back. This doesn't move us forward. In this summit, for the first time, there was openness, putting Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market at the center of the discussion. I think this was a brilliant move. It allowed for a much more effective discussion about Cardano's contribution to the crypto space and its advantages over others

Honestly, the fact Cardano price has not moved from 32 cents is insane. It proves it is no ghost chain. Not sure about you guys but now is an insane time to buy up as much cheap Cardano as possible.

For my understanding, if the bridge is bidirectional, would you also be able to send cardano over the bitcoin network? If so, wouldn't that congest the bitcoin network?

nice news. So this is why IOHK choses the extended UTXO model, that made it hard for some DEFI Projects at first to build their features in a clean way. Because by using UTXO Cardano is technically very "near" to bitcoin, that made this bridge much more comfortable than other projects could implement it. So was it Charles Hoskinson's idea to position Cardano as the biggest layer 2 soltion for bitcoin just from the beginnig?! 😀
