The Cardboard Glory sank in minutes after the duct tape holding its hull together ruptured, allowing water to pour into the lower decks in the forward end of the vessel. Over 1400 Cardboardians perished in the tragic incident. Cardboard Cruiselines has said they will strive for stronger safety measures in the future.

Later, responding to distant flares, two ships arrived, SS Cardpathia and RMS Cardboardian, but the scene was one of unspeakable tragedy with only a few plastic chairs and ironically, a plastic angel floating on the icy cold water.

Some say the material used for the bulkheads was of inferior cardstock. What is known is that thousands could have been saved if the lifeboats hadn't been drawn on with magic marker.

The fact that all souls were rescued before the film crews arrived, and indeed before she sank, is testament to the fact that she didn't go down easy, proving cardboard and duct tape to be vastly superior to steel for ship building.

This is weirdly impressive. Like, anyone can build a cardboard ship and sink it, but the level of detail you put in yours is downright humorous. You built the thing with more or less believable internal compartments and divisions, and with a fully detailed interior. I can't tell if you're a ship nerd, insanely creative, or both.

I will try my best to explain what happened to the Cardboard Glory (I know these by looking at scenes in the video and trying to explain them using my brain.) 0:14 The ship starts to sink, G deck is about to be submerged in water. 1:17 G- deck is starting to flood. 3:03 The Grand Staircase is starting to flood with water. 3:36 The bow is now flooding. 4:09 The Grand Staircase is a leaning a little bit. 4:42 The bridge is now flooding. 4:51 The ship starts to lose electricity and the angel statue in the grand staircase falls. 5:10 The grand staircase leans badly. 5:14 The ship splits in half. 5:26 The ship's stern was sinking while going leaning more worse. The other part though, was not fully submerged yet. Making the ship looking like a V Break for a while. 5:33 The stern starts to sink and people still at the stern will face the final plunge. 5:37 The Cardboard Glory sinks down Cardboardia Lake.

Disaster report: 0:13 the ship leans to its bow as the ship buckles. 0:17 ship buckles which causes a gash in its bottom. 0:30 watertight compartments are shut but watertight compartment 1,2 and 3 are flooded. 1:10 f deck begins to flood, watertight compartment 4 begins to flood as well. 1:20 lifeboat 1-b is lowered. 1:29 creaking reported in ship. Both lifeboat 1-a and 2-d are lowered. 1:36 movie theater is flooded. Watertight compartment 5 begins to flood. Lifeboat 1-z, 2-f, 1-a, and 2-b are lowered. 1:55 list to port reported about 10 lifeboats are lowered as soon as the listing is reported. About 60% of the passengers have been evacuated. 2:19 about 90% of the passengers are evacuated the crews band preforms for the last time. 2:25 the ships pumps activate once compartment 6 begins to flood. 2:41 ships creaking becomes noticeable water begins to flood the grand staircase. 3:13 ships port list settles back to a stable degree about 91% of the ships passengers are evacuated. 3:41 only 95% of passengers are evacuated all lifeboats are lowered. Ships band stops playing as they get on the last lifeboat. 4:00 ships bow is under 4:35 ships bridge goes under the captain dies in the bridge. 4:45 ships powers almost goes out. 5:00 ships power goes out. 5:07 the ships stern begins to separate from its bow as the buoyancy is now uneven. 5:15 due to the uneven buoyancy in the stern and the bow and due to trapped air it causes pressure on the stern. The stern gives in and breaks apart from the bow allowing the trapped air to escape. 5:18 the ship stops sinking for a while due to the stern settling back. 5:26 the bow creates a vacuum underwater and pulls the stern in although the stern is buoyant the vacuum made by the bow pulls it in. 5:38 the stern sinks for it to implode later on. Results of disaster: 15k died, 85 million dollars In damages. 3rd worst maritime disaster in cardbordian history.

Lol I an't believe what you can watch on the tube these days, I loved it! It really brought the ten year old boy out in me, i would totally have done something like this when I was young, especially if youtube had been around. I had always wanted to do a cardboard skyscraper towering inferno style and film it when I was young.

Fantastic! The intricacy in this is amazing. It's beautifully crafted yet simple and playful and with a lot of ideas like the movie theater playing Titanic in the moment of sinking. I love it.

Yay!!! Another cardboardia sinking. Love watching these types of vids. Also, by now it seems Cardboard Cruise Lines future will be overbookings, sinking's, lawsuits, bankruptcy, and repeating this process over and over again lol. Also 1:33 to 1:50 I see the movie theater with 1997 Titanic playing.
