THE FASHION IN THE ORIGINAL TOKYO BABYLON WAS SO GOOD". i get that they wanted to modernize the series (and thus the fashion) or whatever, but like... they could have just worked together with clamp to come up with new and more modern outfits

@@user-we6ks6pw5j CLAMP is know for their fashion flexibility. You can get lots if modern style fashion from them too. They could have gone for the clear cards art style. Still modern but retaining some of CLAMP’s characteristics. But since that anime failed, we got something good in return. They are gonna publish Tokyo Babylon manga again with new cover arts. They are also going to make an xxxHolic stage play.

This was not just a show for me. It laid down the very foundation for my adult life :) I didn’t even know that the “it’s alright” was being ingrained in my subconscious when I was only in elementary back then which later became my attitude for living life! It feels amazing to hear his track and watch the episodes again. Such nostalgia and beautiful memories 🥺✨

I searched "It's Alright Daijoubu Daijoubu" because I can't remember the title of this song. I have the album of all Cardcaptor Sakura songs in my laptop but there is something wrong with my laptop right now so I can't check it. I just remember it and now I'm here. I thought the Saturday morning version played in the US was ok until I watched the original. What they did to this masterpiece in the US is criminal. The depth of this story is absolutely amazing.

I know right. I saw a good chunk of this show (completely out of order) when I was 3-5 years old and tried to re-watch the dub as an adult and I couldn't get past the 10th episode and recently started watching the Japanese versions. The Japanese version is completely different, so much complexity, depth and character development.
