Exterior:
The front fascia comes with an attractive grill with centrally placed logo and chrome garnish. It gets decent looking headlamps with DRLs, the lower fascia has a aerodynamic dual tone bumper that is fitted with black strip. At the same time, its round fog lamps garnished with chrome surround accentuates the exterior looks. At the sides, it is decorated with chrome strip at the lower side of all the doors. It has a set of 5 spoke alloy wheels with 15 inch rim of 185/ 65 / R15 tyre size.
Dimensionally, Renault Lodgy has a total length of 4498 mm and a width of 1751 mm. Its total height stands at 1697 mm with a wheelbase of 2810 mm, which is considerably good for an MPV.
Interiors:
The insides of Renault Lodgy has a dual tone color scheme. The three spoke steering wheel is decorated with glossy metallic trims. Dashboard gets chrome lining circular AC vents in the center and on either sides. Seats are incorporated with good quality leather upholstery with two tone color. Door handles, A/C vents and gear knob comes with chrome garnish, which gives the internal cabin a decent look. Lodgy gets roof mounted air vents at second and third row, to make the cooling even more quicker. It also gets cruise control system along with speed limiter function that eases the driving and reduces fatigue. There is 3 pod instrument cluster with a multi information system that gives details to the driver. It has a spacious cabin which offers a good amount of legroom, shoulder space and headroom to all seven occupants. It comes with decent boot space of 207 litres, which can be further increased by folding the rear seat up to a massive 1861 litres.
Engine :
Lodgy is based on the Duster platform and inevitably has the same engine as the Duster. Lodgy has 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine which has the capability to produce maximum 83.8 bhp with a torque of 200 Nm at 1900 rpm. Renault Lodgy attains a speed of 100kmph from a standstill in under 13.3 seconds, with the 108 Bhp variant. 85 PS engine is mated with 5 speed manual transmission. While, the 110 PS version comes with the sleek 6 speed manual transmission.
Ride and Handling :
It has adaptive suspension with anti-roll bar that gives it the control it needs. The suspension is on the softer side but there isn’t a considerable amount of roll to make the passengers nervous. Also, Lodgy is based on Duster platform, that is monocoque construction that provides it the required rigidity. The electromechanical steering wheel is light making the handling nimble. The ventilated disc brakes at front and drum brakes at rear contribute to optimum stopping power. Though, the brake have way too much bite when you are moving slow, leading the vehicle into abrupt stops.
Verdict :
Lodgy has best in class space, superb fuel efficiency, performance and comfort like a sedan. Lodgy is a great option if you are looking for the aforementioned.

Very informative review cardekho. I recently test drove lodgy after much speculation because nobody in my circle has the lodgy. I was totally impressed with its looks, driving and handling and the entire space that it offers. Ertiga somehow turned me off when I saw the last row seats, not enough leg room or head room. Innova has only 5 gears so I was bummed, also I always see it as a car on hire and have hired it myself while travelling with family, its boring to buy one.

I like what I see. Lodgy seems a sensible buy for a large family. Overall, a good car.

Test drove this lodgy, pretty good in terms of the MPV standard. Judge after driving, dont go on the boxy look or doubt its performance.

+Abhishek Nigam liked the creta and duster comparo with practical usage cover with a story line. can you come up with one for mpv? am particularly interested to see the winner. BTW, I own a lodgy.
