Tata Punch vs Nexon vs Altroz: Which car to buy? किस Tata को खरीदे? Space & Practicality Comparison

A lot of us have brand preferences while buying a new car. And if you are looking into the Tata family for a city friendly option, you have three. The Altroz, a proper premium hatchback. Punch, a hatchback with the characteristics of an SUV and finally the Nexon. However, at the price of the top-end Punch and Altroz, you get the mid XM S variant of the Nexon. Also, all of these three cars fall under the 4 metre rule. So can the Altroz and Punch give the Nexon a run for its money, or does the Nexon have a big enough advantage over the siblings when it comes to space and practicality that sacrificing some features is worth it. This is not related to car performance its only that Tata is not able to provide car on time to masses, therefore serious car buyers are looking for alternatives . But on the other hand Tata Altroz is a best option of car, luxury and stability on road and price also low as compared to hyundai i 20, aura, baleno, dezire.

Altroz tops the 3 primarily for these reasons: 1. Stability - you get that sports car feel with the sharp looks and aerodynamic body. Feels better, rides way stable on any roads. 2. Ride Quality - Extremely well balanced. Rode better on any roads, ground clearance wasn’t an issue anywhere. The suspension setup is so good that the car barely touches anywhere. Nexon may fly faster on any roads but the sofa type cushioning ain’t really comfortable for longer trips. Altroz is slightly better. 3. Handling and Mileage - Better design - lesser height - better handling any day for altroz. Mileage is better by leaps and bounds in Altroz over punch and Nexon mainly due to lower height. The only thing it misses out is the high seating commanding view which can help for new drivers. However if you’re an experienced driver - you’d love to ride the Altroz. Like he rightly mentioned - a true all rounder!

Nexon is a much costlier car than the other 2!!.. No point in comparing the 3.. It is very clear.. You have the extra budget, get the Nexon.. You have the most modern Tata, get the Punch.. You want the cheapest turbo petrol fun n don't mind poor ground clearance, get the Altroz..

Nice comparison. my opinion is, if you stay in a small city and your travel includes around city then altroz is best. if you live in city and travel includes city/light off-road then select Punch. If you live in a rural area and includes off-roading and highway run, then nexon would be better. Mine was 3rd case, so I chose Nexon. Its perfect for my family. again its my personal opinion.

My budget is INR 10-10.50 Lcs and Tata Punch will be my go to car out of these three. Why I selected Punch ? 1. Nexon XMA AMT does not provide an infotainment system. 2. No driver seat height adjustment in Nexon XMA AMT. 3. No rear parking camera in Nexon XMA AMT. I have to spend 32K more just for points 1 and 3. Whereas in Tata Punch Creative AMT, I am getting all the above mentioned features plus alloy wheels and fog lamps and LED DRL's with the same 5star safety rating as Nexon.

Achha laga sun k… I did Mumbai to Goa , 4 people and 2 mid size and 4 cabin size luggage in boot. I was amazed at the performance with that much load. And yes cooled glove box lives upto its name. It really helped keep our water at really good temperature (not warm not too chilled) and with hand rest in the rear seat gave us feeling of that premium touch that this segment promises.

Altroz manages to deliver an impressive balance between grip, handling and suspension setup. It settles nicely after a bump as well, which will help you stay comfortable for longer journeys in the car. The power delivered in the petrol engine is liner and smooth, but it feels crude to push and the three-cylinder clatter remains present throughout the rev band. When you are comparing Nexon XMS then you should bring that particular variant not the top trim sand show adjustable headrest and rear ac vent. Make real comparison and don't misguide your viewers.

Get your facts checked. The showroom guys of tata themselves tell you that inside seating space of Altroz is even wider than Nexon. Nexon just has a muscular wider flares which ends up giving it more width on paper. In your comparison itself the guy in the red shirt is literally sitting away from the door panel when it came to Altroz whereas in punch and Nexon he was sitting with his shoulder sticking to the door panel. Yes.. rear seat space of Altroz is on par with Nexon. But comfort is little better in Nexon with better under thigh support and little higher roof. Though under thigh support can be increased in Altroz with modifications.

Superb comparison sir. For off roads i think Nexon is best(not sure) but you missed this point. Anyway booked Nexon XZ+ dark edition last week. Don't know it's a wise option or not.

It's a good choice because lower models in tata cars are absolutely rubbish , u can also look for sonet anniversary addition Diesel torque converter

@@ankitladia2471 that time 10.55L was ex showroom price. As i obtain for BH series have to pay 25k for registration, 35k insurance, 10k TCS others depend on you like accessories and extended warranty
