Cardfight!! Vanguard: Blade Wing (Dark Irregulars) vs Diablo (Shadow Paladin)

Brand new fight featuring one of the newer decks, and on top of that - actual CFV sound effects!
Had a lot of fun editing this one, the more fight vids I make lately the more I love editing them, so that's definitely a good thing.
Also, just to note: my friend AmberSAMA who's playing Blade Wings here had only been playing them for a few hours at the time of recording, so y'know. Be nice fam. :')

Blade Wings are so much fun, the QW surprisingly works well with Blade Wings just for the fact that you can easily reshuffle your drop zone back into your deck anyway... :-P

I'm just curious on Shadow Paladin's second stride, wouldn't it be more advantage to stride Dark Dragon, Phantom Blaster "Diablo" instead of Dark Dragon, Spectral Blaster "Diablo"? I want to hear your opinion on that. TQ :)

i didn't know you like 'aldnoah zero' different fight, and it makes me glad i'm not the only one who loves it...... sorry got distracted, i think the curse of the camera is now broken seeing as though you've won 3 fights in a row. shame none of them had you useing dp but good fight either way. can't wait for the next one.

I may just not be super well-versed in Shadow Paladin plays, but on the turn you strode Spectral Blaster, wouldn't it have been more effective to use Phantom Blaster "Diablo"? The max shield he could have gotten against you was 35000 (By using either Scryew or Saint-Germain, including Sullivan's skill) considering that he didn't have 2 rears to retire, making himself 46000 against Phantom Blaster "Diablo" and his 36000 base, with a boost from the starter he could have been 41000, making it one to pass?

It would have, but if you read some previous comments, my fight videos are more about "entertainment" than "tryharding", so I wanted to have fun and go into Spec. Also, some others commented below that my friend playing BW would've survived the PB"D" turn.

At 13:29 Sullivan only has 16 soul left, should have attacked with RG first and auto soulblast 2 to put him at 14 soul then he waste a card to guard then swing with 2 crit spectral blaster diablo and sullivan wouldnt have been able to add shield to guardians anymore.

I wanted to use the Deathspray that turn to get rid of the Dimension Creeper, because otherwise he could ride another Sullivan, use his skill to copy the Creeper 3 times again (since he reshuffled them back) and that would give him even more guarding power for later turns. I should've retired Fullbau Diablo with Aurageyser Doomed though, realised that while rewatching. :P

+DifferentFight usually when I draw into my Spirit and I have to awkwardly call a Blaster Dark Diablo while I already have Front Row units, I just call the Diablo to the back row and use it for retire fodder for Deathspray Dragon.

+Ren Suzugamori I do similar things lol. For example if I don't have sny boosts I will move a unit in my front row to the back and wait to see if I need them again. If not then just replace them.

in the turn you stride spectral diablo, i think you would have to go for the phantom blaster diablo instead and win the game...

Actually the blade wing player would've survived because he had the quintet wall which charged units for him, so let's say he went into phantom. Rear guards swing first put him at 15 soul then the quintet keeps him at 15. Then the g guardian for DI gets plus 10 if you have 10 in soul, then 10 from Sullivan, so it would've been no pass and he sacked his rear guards for nothin in the process for the guard block. I bet he thought the g guard would've stopped him regardless and didn't wanna minus hard.

I could just be adding up incorrectly here, but if the normal 15k shield got plus 10k, then Sullivan's 10k, that would be a 35k shield putting him at 46k right? Then Phantom Blaster "Diablo" gets 10k with his skill, so he alone has 36k and with a boost it could be one to pass? Please correct me if I am missing another shield he had, but still a wonderful match those top deck heals were awesome to see
