This was a speedrun deck profile so we made several mistakes and missing out some cards that should have been in here like more G-guardians that offers this deck more defensive options and utility. Attacking 3 times with Overlord is usually better than striding so most strides can be replaced for more G-guardians as having heal triggers in hand is more likely than you striding in this deck.

There are some situations where it makes Conroe worth considering in your deck space. Even in some match ups as well, the toolboxing might actually come into play. And it's also one of the reasons why Overlord is super consistent at what it does. So really, it all comes down to personal preference but we personally play it to fulfill those niches.

@Casual Zone I understand what you mean completely.its just I play tested this a million times. By having conroe(og) as your starter , the opponent will try to play around him and not to mention the lack of soul that you might run into for not having an extra card in the soul. I'm not saying that your decision is bad all I'm saying is that you would consider thoes problems as well.

This was actually a very rushed deck profile for the sake of getting it out to people, so we honestly forgot. But you're right, it should have been in here! You should definitely run that card as it can shut down a lot of plays that relies on their rearguards. In fact, you should play mostly G-guardians to replace the strides that you rarely ever go into for the utility because the V-Premium Overlord turn is usually that much better than striding.
