As a raging form player myself since the beginning and left the game about 4/5 months ago due to commitments of having a child and work being hectic, recently cracked open my deck box looked at the new cards that are out now and i think CardProtagonist has this deck build all wrong, at this stage with the new cards, we should still be abusing the point that raging form dragon is a LB and not building the deck around its new stride Rapt Dragon, the strides should be considered a bonus and a late game push, none of this 9 G3's keep to the 4x4 build since the new rare is simply amazing, get that raging form out while adding that g3 back to hand for the oppotunity to use Rapt, run the 4 mana and also 4 LB removers, get the chances ofhaving to hand as often as possible, run the 4 darkbless, run the 4 maur to still quickly get to raging form no matter what and the new g2 raging support is simply amazing, Revenger, Detonate Heat Dragon a 11k attacker so maur is still viable and hitting the 16k+ mark, and retire it add raging form, thank you, i want cards that search and not randomly draw into dragruler for the sake of trying rapt, when the point of the deck is too get as many raging forms off as qucikly as possible and instead of using 2-3 10k attacker g1's replace them with Detecting Revenger, Aife, again another card abusing the fact to search for raging form, also no need for Revenger, Weitgore Dragon because since using g3 raging and possibly the Rapt stride, you will be re riding so any triggers that are going to go off, use them obviosuly to try and past if they guarded other wise all triggers are going to rear guard anyways so i see no need this Weitgore Dragon and personally prefer the option to try and exploit the use of raging form and its ability to get off multiple times per turn... Anyone please if think anything different, open to suggestions and criticism on my ideas of the raging form deck build, but please realise this is my personal opinion and open to discussion about the deck and other ways to make this build consistent for other shadow/ raging form players out there for the competitive game. hope CardProtaganist sees this :) *fanboy*

I rarely use raging rapt so I didnt even include it in my deck profile. It just has such a high cost, I only add them to my gzone if I ever play casually with my friends and very often do I pull the combo off for ranging rapt

Seiso Descendant got the better support on the current set but Raging Form didn't need support anyway so it looked like the new Raging support is better than Descendant even though it's not.

Shiny Dialga the shadow paladin cards that support Raging are better than the Narukami cards that support Descendant. Luard G4 and the G Guardian are better for Raging than VMAX and the G Guardian for Descendant

Manyhobbiesman Stop comparing the Raging and Descendant support with different support. G4 Luard doesn't fit with Raging and Vmax and the G Guardian doesn't fit with Descendant. The G4 Luard is meant for Luard and the new Narukami Thunderstrike stuff is meant for Vanquisher.

Shiny Dialga except that the G4 Luard does fit with Raging - it gets you Mauls, LB removers and the Angel that rests to search for raging form.

Manyhobbiesman But the point of Raging is to rush ur opp when u get to ur Raging Form, then if u failed to win by then u stride into the new G4 Raging. Yes, you could use G4 Luard, but by then it's pretty much pointless, people would just go with Spectral/Phantom Blaster.

hey CardProtaganist I tried out your deck on Area and I was wondering how does stride cost and Rapt's effect cost not bug you cause I wanted to use Raging form after Rapt but once I used Rapt I ran out of raging form for a triple standing vanguard and was wondering how I could get around the stride cost and other effect costs or should I use just one effect per game and not worry about the other one?

something legacy needs an ashlei stride (ashlei not jewel knights) yeah a "shifter" vanguard is definitely amazing, for things that arent breakrides of course (breakrides need a looper) seems like "shifters" are gonna be legacy exclusive tho, considering strides have "infinite possiblities"

To be honest, carnivore dragon does more work than doomed. Plus carnivore has no cb cost And 3 of the enabler seems like over kill. 2 of the enabler should work. Since this is not a ritual deck, ludvik is pointless, swap for dizmel o max out plotmaker.

in my opinion raging rapt isnt as great as the g3 because its not everytime where u can have 4 g3s in ur hand after striding.. but meh xD its still good, its my favorite deck right now
