Honestly, the writing this season and overall has been amazing and the flashback episode was so oddly wholesome. This really does feel like old-school vanguard and seeing them re-establish the lore how the cards react to the fighters, I just know the last fight is going to be amazing.

For me I feeling like the took the best aspect of old school, g era and D era vanguard and combined to make divinez. And I loved what they did for akina Like ofc he has things he wish he did differently. But he doesn’t regret the life he choosen to live. He did things because want to and was living true to himself. And through the power of his heart and thoughts he chose to reach his hand out to a miracle has occurred Allowing rezeal to evolve!

We finally get the full story about Hikari’s accident. Didn’t expect to see Taizo or Masanori at the camp too, but it makes sense Taizo would be a camp counselor with how he acts as a cool older brother. Masanori however looked like he was still as playful as ever, only he doesn’t give off that unhinged vibe from when he was younger. I wonder if we’ll get some backstory on why he’s who he is now. With Syblit no longer in Future Hikari’s body, it looks like she’s on the verge of fading away, since it seemed to act as some sort of anchor keeping her in the present. I really hope she’ll be able to stick around, or at least return to her future alive. Now that we’re nearing the endgame, I’ve been wondering what Kuon’s role in this is gonna be. He’s the only one still under Syblit’s mental pollution and with what it’s doing, I can’t really see him siding with them. But with that last scene, it’s looking like he’ll have to be dealt with either before or after Syblit, in which case I’m hoping to see Suo get some payback on him.

So this means Taizou and Masanori are in their late 20s / early 30s? It was kinda funny seeing Taizo there. for a second it felt like seeing a spinoff. i think what was keeping future hikari alive was the design force (explaining sylbit's comment that, only thanks to that, it was able to resurrect itself). And from side material saying "it could only possess future hikari for very short seconds as a true last resort", the design force in future hikari was probably the only thing keeping both of them alive. and now that sylbit has it almost all and no longer needs future hikari... unless the creation of the fated king "refilled her design force gauge" a little she might vanish after all this is said and done. unless they use the design force to save her.

Man, DivineZ really is shaping up to be the dress era version of vanguard g -Nao being “diffrided” by sybilt -Liael=Odium essentially being Chronojet/heritage -the fated king pretty much being created the same way as chrono dragon gear groovey (with design force and stride force respectively) -sybilt pulling young hikari towards it like chaos breaker did with noa in g next -Akina losing his memories of a certain accident like chrono did -kuon and chrono wanting to go to planet cray as well

Rezael as a being from Cray has a personal relationship with Liael the time angel. Overall a great episode. Nice to see everyone in their younger years. Suo especially looks really cute being lively. I think its believable for them to not really remember this event. Akina and the rest of the kids would be around 6 to 8 years old by then. People usually don't remember a lot of things from that early on in their life. As for Masanori and Taizo, I think they would have remembered if they saw Sybiilt themselves. As it were Masanori just saw 2 kids playing around and Taizo was a staff member who had to look after all of the kids. Nao was always the reliable senpai even from childhood. I had a feeling "The Fated King" would be Akina's new card and not Sybilt because of the word Fate. Sybilt would probably be the Destined Conqueror or something. I will say that I was not expecting a new Rezael form this soon. The original overDress start deck got grade 4 in set 4 was understandable because they were start deck units. Rezael is a booster set unit. Either way I'm excited for it. Rezael needs more offensive power currently. Especially after the atrocious RRR in set 4. My predictions for the following episodes is that Akina will fight Sybilt and winning but then Sybilt goes to possess Kuon which will be what Season 3 is about. They have to be planning something with Kuon. He's still mentally polluted which the others seems to forgot. Understandable with all this chaos unfolding in real time. Also because he's really the only one still mentally polluted. Or, what might happen is the opposite. Kuon would spring up and fight Akina for the finale of this season leaving Sybilt for Season 3.

Would have watch this and made my comment sooner but power outage ruined that plan. Spoilers! It's so surreal on how almost every "Fated One" all met 10 years ago along with Kuon, what's more surreal for me is the fact that Masanori actually being normal in a conversation for once. So yeah no cardfight but we do confirm that Sybilt did posess Hikari in the ruins but I was surprised on how involved Nao was 10 years ago which caused Sybilt to posses her body or diffride in Vanguard terms, also it was sneaky that the moment future Hikari slumps on the table is the moment Sybilt transfer itself to the design force. Also this episode was hinted in the opening during the different frames that flash through when we see the destined ones desire, speaking of that Kuon might commit sabotage and might either A. Takes over the cardfight replaces Sybilt to get his wish. B. After Akina VS Sybilt, Kuon then steps in and challenges Akina to fight for the design force. Now what really surprised me is the fact that the Fated King is Rezael, which I do find a bit disappointing (also I was half expecting that Gabwelius will lend Akina his strength and Diffrides Akina to get his own form to contrast Sybilt Diffrode in Nao's body) but with this and the title of the next episode it probably does confirm that the Destined King is probably Varga Dragres but corrupted (though I might be wrong). Also Bushiroad better not reveal their abilites before they clash, or else it will be another Stravairina situation. Next is the last cardfight of this season Akina VS Sybilt. Excited to see what the Fated and Destined King can do.

I fucking love how DivineZ is going back to OG vanguard and its roots, not like the weird downfall of Dseries, like it reminds me so much of link joker which to me was the best season of vanguard. All the characters coming together to fight one entity, them having a strong connection and etc it’s just like the first 3 seasons of vanguard when it came out 13 yrs ago in 2011. Heres what I think will happen...based on everything. Its obvious that Kuon will fight Sybilt first. But its kinda important to note that 1: He's still under the mental pollution. And 2: Sybilt has taken more interest in him during the flashback. Also it makes no sense that a Fated one will become the Destined King. Levidras will become the Destined King and the true final fight is between Akina and Kuon. Kuon gets possesed by Sybilt at the end.
