I swear, after this episode it seems things about this fight were foreshadowed in episode 2. Dialogue from episode 2: Raika: "What true colors are you hiding under that mask?" Sophie: "Well, if you put it that way… Would you like to rip my mask off?" Raika: "I don't need to. As long as you keep hiding your true colors, victory shall be mine." Raika: "Sophie Belle." Sophie: "What is it?" Raika: "You're still hiding something." Sophie: "Next time, let's play with just the two of us. That time, I shall show you my true magic." Not only did they say mask, but also Raika said victory will be his as long as Sophie hides her true colors, and she said she'll show her true magic the next time they fight. Then, six episodes later, i.e. this episode, they fight again and what happens? Sophie reveals things to Raika about Uniformers, and she shows off a Masques unit, and Raika loses.

Sophie is such a perfect depiction of a sadist you love to hate, but can't completely dislike. She's so pretty, yet displays such ugliness of character in such a suave way that she really bewitches and strings viewers along like a witch. It's so weird to hear serious and uptight Kourin's VA do such a different character! Truly fantastic voice acting breadth. I can't help but feel she just wants to fight someone who can go toe-to-toe with her without breaking. Cursed by being too gifted in everything she does, she wants to create a fighter who can overwhelm and challenge her... But that's just a guess.

Eh not really, I mean cool that Astroea can now Multiattack and add more pressure, but so far it didn't fix issue with it's reliance on critical triggers. The deck kind of loses steam after binding them and ironically you see less triggers during drive check. The deck really needs a normal unit that can act as critical trigger from at least from soul, drop and bind for this to have a needed consistency boost. At least that's my opinion. I'm expecting I will probably be flamed.

Yup so it's confirmed that Masques is the new Reverse per say. SPOILERS! Well that's to be expected that Raika got crushed by Sophie, and we get to see Xeno Almajestar, Astroea=Bico Masques in action, also we now have an idea about what Project Uniformers is and wow is it so messed up when you think about, for once I can agree to Raika that what they're doing is wrong in so many ways than one, Also the way Sophie acts is so Toxic, making fun of Raika's ride lines like that, if they would rematch in the future (if Raika doesn't join Uniformers that is), I wished he would make fun of hers at some point. Another thing to note is the fact that Michiru is not eating, which might become the cause of his death, also Urara is on phase 3 in Project Uniformers meaning she had already thrown her individuality and based on the preview She and Tomari will fight which most likely be the Debut of Lianorn Masques.

Otherwise we have like, Solrarion who could be introduced in the show and then have a masque form next set, many potentials and all pretty interesting

Wow. After Zorga's reveal last week, this was overall very underwhelming I feel. It's a huge puzzle that's going to struggle with the 8 crits limit, not to mention it's... I dunno...
