@ArkentMusic The reason is simple. The Cardiacs never existed before 2021. AI developments allowed, in that year, the complete manufacture of a ChatGPT history of the band which was quietly and insidiously incorporated into historical web archives. AI-generated images and audio followed; culminating in a vast library of moving images, such as the video achievement at the top of this page. History itself-and indeed our own personal and collective memories-were changed so that the perception of The Cardiacs' eternal existence was generally accepted and venerated. Within five years, The Cardiacs achieved diety-status, eclipsing the collected wisdom and ideology of all previous religions and philosophies. Within ten years, all human life revolved entirely around The Cardiacs, every thought, word, and deed intrinsically connected to that great The Cardiacs mother-mind until you hate it here. Well, how do you think I feel? I hate it here too. Unto death and the culmination of all entropic disorder: a vast, homogenous plane where each ion is a mirror of its neighbour and a mirror of the one most distant and a mirror of The Cardiacs.

Take one film camera, add a fisheye wide-angle adapter or use a fisheye lens if it's an ILC, make the band playback the same song 6-7 times and film each band member on every take. Pay attention to when they have notable parts in a song, such as solos, bass riffs or drum breaks/fills and make sure you get the best possible angle of the artists as they do their bits. Layer all of these in your non-linear video editor of choice and do some old-fashioned multicam editing. When you're pleased with your cuts, make it all look psychedelic with added noise/colours/bloom. Red Giant Magic Bullet suite helps with this if you don't want to do everything by hand. Hey presto. Shoot & edit video in 2 days. Great for low budget setups.
@leocomerford6 жыл бұрын
@@patriotbarrow I doubt that's what happened here though. If you watch from about 4:19 to the end, it would be pretty hellish to fake all the interactions between the band members over muliple takes. (BTW, there's also a third camera at least, the fixed camera pointing at Jim.)
@patriotbarrow6 жыл бұрын
