I was always told as a child I couldn't draw to save my life. I saw this video and decided to give it a try. Took a while but I was able to finally draw something right. This gave me the courage to try more. Thank you for these videos. Lost my craft room for a few years and now have it back and starting over using your videos again. Thanks for simplifying things down to a truly beginner and now 59. I appreciate you more than you know.

Angela, I love that you showed how to draw the birds; however, I'm not a great drawer, SO, I'm gonna take the easy road & chalk/trace them in & then enhance the line work with pastel or WC pencil. - for those who struggle with drawing, this is a fantastic method of getting the object(s) onto the canvas.

Thanks so much for this. I want to put cardinals on my (watercolor) Christmas cards and gift tags this year. I want to get drawing/outline done now, though, so as not to feel pressure around holiday time. This is so helpful because I've never (lol) gotten a cardinal to pose for me.

Beautiful Cardinals Angela! I just love them. I'm confused however, you keep saying tomorrow but the live event is on the 21st?? Are you doing another event on the 19th or something? I just want to make sure I put it on my calendar on the correct day, I sure don't want to miss it!! LOL :)
