See this is what I’m talking about how you Show us the colors you are using & and the name of the Bushes 👍👍👍❤️ I’m Learning to paint I have some of my paint Acrylic and canvas I have put it on hold due to losing My only son who passed away on 9/24/21 😔 painting was my joy till I lost him but I do miss it because I know it’s help at time it makes me sad and happy because the night before my son pass I did a painting so it be sad at time I like your painting ❤️

Oh I’m so sorry to hear about your son. Cardinals sometimes painted in memory of loved ones who passed, maybe this would be a good painting for you to try in memory of him 💕

Well I tried. Everything came out not to shabby except the bokeh effect. Not sure if it’s because I used watercolor paper or not. Well the beak does look like it belongs on a toucan. Lol. Just noticed I did a pretty good job of the splatter snow, all over the dog kennel

Yay! I haven’t tried the bokeh technique on watercolor paper, but that might have something to do with it. lol I always get splatter everywhere too!

I ended up trying someone’s (unfortunately I can’t remember who’s to give them credit)watercolor technique. It actually came out pretty good, but it took forever. Good thing I only used a 7x10 sheet
