No one is perfect. He's one of the best closers in all of MLB. Has the most saves. He has worked a lot and may be a bit fatigued but hey, that's the job and cards are always in close games. But id send him out there for any situation closing in any big game. Maybe sometimes he won't come through but more often then not he will.

Impressive. Everybody else won basically in Central. Big win. Didn't think Lance could do it, glad I'm proven wrong. U can tell they are a fastball hitting team those runs were needed. Winn look at the Stat cast on they like throwing you junk to chase away for strike 3. Jamming u with heat, the one should of been launched deep the other way- high n away. DC with 2 strikes they're setting u up on double play. And did. If your gotta nub hit one to ss angle it down 3rd angled wrists but they pitched you well. Glad Contro got a game under his belt. They pitch well w great scouting report. Hoskins grand slam helped Brewers. Y didn't we pick him up. Burly very good at 1st. Like to see Walker at 3rd or Gorman, Fermin hitting shots if lefty pitchs. How about A's 2nd baseman Geoif, Miami dissed Jazz on his 1yr cheap contract. Grab Sanchez and Scott for Matz and Yankee supplies men so we can grab Miller from As. They make the deal work cuz they might get our corners and we sign Geoif, Miller, Sanchez, Jazz and Scott. Gets us 3 relievers or a bullpen start, plus fills 2nd with a great player, 2 guys natural position 3rd Gorman/Walker or Big Target Walker at 1st. Edman 3rd also, Noot. DC, Jazz, Siani speed, Sanchez n Burly DH or rotate areas. Fully stocked and loaded yet people are gonna hate losing 2 guys to the Yanks, but we might be playing against them if we get the above guys. Sign them 3yrs, one has a longer contract already. It gives us injury replacement plus day off relief, ph, pr, lead off hitters. Great sticks. And probably less salary. Those bats and flexibility plus 3yr contracts put us into the future very tough if not possibly a chance to get to the World Series. Plus the next few years one heck of a team. If Matz is shut down this year trade bait to get this deal done. Marlins n As may do it. The Yankees got great prospects..sure I hate losing our corners but the Yanks with them can help us get 2As 3marlins plus some kicker money for it to work. We sign 3yr deals with new guys that are left open. 2 team wild card race. Then winning in post season to get to the show. Very possible.

The bullpen has been the reason why the Cards have a winning record this year... Get a clue. Their offense has not scored a lot of runs. Their defense has been inconsistent as well as the starting pitching. Other than Jo Jo blowing a few games lately, the bullpen has been solid. Very surprised that they are doing so well but it is a fact the bullpen has carried the team.
