Zac I have been in the medical field for 30 years, and your video tutorials are by far some of the most extensive and informative tidbits I have ever been exposed to. You have a gift for making very complex systems understandable. Good luck with your career, you will go far!

After watching your pulm lecture series and being impressed, decided to watch the Cardio lecture series. You have an incredible gift. Your impressive comprehension of the material, your ability to distill it down into a logical progression and your passion for imparting knowledge and understanding is truly remarkable. Will definitely be donating after PA school, but for now, all I can do is express my appreciation. Thank you!

Know that I'm commenting late, but you are literally AMAZING! You've developed the perfect recipe for teaching: Your ability to understand such complex topics but explain them so clearly is outstanding, and it makes all the content you cover so much easier to comprehend. Plus, your enthusiasm while teaching is absolutely contagious. (Great explanation skills + Enthusiasm = Perfection) Without you, I would not have a very firm grasp on much of anything related to biology, biochemistry, or anatomy, but thanks to you, I've gained some more confidence in my understanding of different subjects within these fields. And, thanks to you, I'm excited to learn more! I'm only in high school now (so obviously still have a ton of learning to do to REALLY be considered a knowledgeable person) but I aspire to have a medical career one day, and believe that you are giving me a great foundation. Please, please, PLEASE keep on making content!! You're the best😄

Just to clarify ... Blood travels through blood vessels, which include arteries, veins, and capillaries. Blood vessels are divided into three types: arteries, veins, and capillaries.Arteries are blood vessels away from the heart and have thick, elastic walls. As for the veins, they are the blood vessels that carry blood towards the heart, and are distinguished by their valves that push blood towards the heart

This whole section has been really difficult to pay attention to (Not your video or presentation, just the subjects hemodynamics and blood vessels in general) I don't think I've ever had to study something I've been THIS disinterested in lol. Thank you for making the video, it's helped keep my attention on the subject matter and not allow me to drift off like my chapter work lol

Which part of the pressure volume loop would you say is more related to afterload? Would it be the CD tract because of the fact that the aortic valve is open and therefore the blood inside the chamber is in contact with the one outside or would it be also the BC tract because of the influence that wall stress (which is not related to aortic pressure) has on the actual afterload?
