Oh my god, I have been looking for a proper tutorial for 2 years now. Thank you Ekaterina for doing this.

The best one handed fan and tutorial. I'm able to do it smoothly both hands with only half day of practise :). The key is to use all of the fingers to spread out the card, just do it slow then you can feel how it works. After that it will be so much easy. Best of luck guys, just dont give up

nice tutorial, my favourite one handed fan.

I think the next tutorial should be the sybil cut (five faces of sybil). for me, learning sybil really helped me to progress with cardisty. alot of flourishes use variations of sybil, so to have it down is going to give you a good foundation to build off of. great tutorial btw, I could never really understand the reverse fan before this, but it definitely helped. thanks!

Yayy!!!! thank you sharing this awesome way to fan cards. I was trying to find a method for a one handed thumb fan myself but for some reason never thought of inverting the fan like this. thanks again Ekaterina

Very cool method! The way I learned to do a one-handed fan is more of a pressure-fan and really beats-up the cards. Also, more knacky and I think this method gives a better display.. anyhow, thanks for the video, I'll be working on this.

So glad your doing cardistry tutorials.

Two things I found while trying to learn this. 1) Starting with half a deck was too difficult. When I reduced to 10 cards it got way easier. 2) She wasn't kidding when she said it's hard to do slow. Try to do it fast, then try and slow it down to clean it up.

Since you have a few fan tutorials why not put one up of a smear fan? You know one handed fan a bit nacky if your not used to do it but i think it might be helpfull!

Great tutorial but I'm only just starting to really get the thumb and pressure fans down along with one hand close and that took a little over a week of constant practice (like every free second my hands had I was working on it pretty much(idk how long this will take can't even do this poorly yet)

This typ of one handed fans i've never seen before. The easy's version of one handed fans be with thum but with the nucile? Who you seen that tec for 1handed fan?
@FHFJB014 жыл бұрын
Thumb fan much easier for me. Can't seem to find the right pivot. A little hard to see the beginning and the exact placement of the thumb and knuckle and other fingers. Also, can't figure how your using the index finger to get the 180 degree spread. I'll keep practicing, but I think my hands are not made for this one.

Practice first with Aristocrats cards, then browse for beautifuo designed cards for majestoc effect. Only when you are comfortable to do without jerking or stuttering your fi fingers. This is like miedium to hard. I am still in Basic.

How do you get it into such a nice circle formation? Whenever I try it, the cards end up in a sort of half fan at the tips of my fingers.
@MrJAa857 жыл бұрын
Why is this so impossible to do?? Jeeez, I'm so frustrated... I have the exact same finger positions you have, but it won't even REMOTELY fan like that... I guess all I can do with this new deck now is to slit my wrist :/ (joking ofc, relax ;) )

This way of doing a one handed fan is closer to the carnahan fan than the basic one handed fan (cardistry version). It's not a critic tho.
