I actually don’t mind the subscription stuff tbh but that’s just for my needs. I can see why people are upset about the set up though if they use those pay walled features. We’ll see how it plays out. Great video thank you.

The problem is, the subscription makes no sense if the MSRP of Packtalk Custom is 70% of MSRP of Packtalk Edge. I bought my edge at decent discount recently, almost for the MSRP of Custom ... If the Custom was significantly cheaper and then you could pay only for features you need and only when you need them e.g. if you ride only during summer, then I could see the value in it.

@@MrFerisko you can also just get the previous model of the edge. also cheaper. Comms are a good idea for anyone really but the paywall thing is just silly. they can just make units that have less like they did with freecom line they did. I ride everyday so I see the value for this for my life, but i see what you are saying about the seasonal riders. still would just say get a different model of cardo if you dont need the features. I understand why they are doing this but its opening the door that video games did like EA and EPIC.
